"You ready for this?" Luke asks adjusting my earpiece. I give him a smirk.

"Always."

"You look fucking psychotic." Maybe I was a little mentally fucked, but this is what I lived for.

"We can switch places y/n." Ghost says with an almost worried look on his face.

"Price wants me to do it. I've got this." I reassure him. Luke looks over his shoulder, glaring at him.

"In and out, don't let anyone see you. Grab the envelope and get out." Soap says. I'm pretty sure they all think I'm incapable of doing this mission. Luke should know better, I'm the first pick for a reason.

"I'll be on stand-by if you need help." Ghost says once more before I walk away crouching. I look towards the first building, which Price calls 'building B'. The information we need is in one of these buildings. I see three guards standing by a vehicle to my left about 50 yards out, my right side is clear. There's one guard on top of the building, and I've seen at least one inside. I crouch in silence waiting for the guard on the top to turn. I can feel my heart beat throughout my body, I try to focus on my breathing. It's go time. As the guard turns, I quickly slink to the side of the building. I've gone completely unnoticed. I peer into the window and see a total of two gaurs inside. How the fuck am I supposed to do this? I try to push my thoughts aside, knowing I need to succeed. I'm crouched behind an air conditioning fan (you know those weird square fans outside of houses, yeah that's what they are lol), when I hear the door open. Shit. Shit. Shit. I hold myself against the side of the building, attempting to make myself invisible. The guard walks right in front of me. I know what I need to do. Before he sees me I grab my tactical knife, stand up and slit his throat. The sound of him gargling on his own blood almost satisfies me. As I take my knife away from his neck, my face is sprayed with his blood. Jesus Christ. I drag his lifeless body to where I was once hiding and set him up in a way that would perfectly hide his body.

"Good job Rain, slow and steady." I hear Ghost's raspy voice slowly say through my earpiece. Crouching down once again, I peek through the now-open door. The second guard is now gone. I see a desk to my left, and quickly scurry behind it. As I position myself between the desk and the wall, I hear heavy footsteps nearing. I peek to the side and catch a glimpse of the second guard's feet. I quickly look for anyone else that may be accompanying him. When I deem the coast to be clear I make my attack. I acted too quickly. He had seen me lunge for him and he grabbed me, throwing my body over him, onto the desk.

"Fuck!" I whimper out in pain, quickly jumping back into action, I grab my knife and stab his arm.

"God damn it you little bitch!" He yells. I hear footsteps from upstairs. Not having enough time to react he grabs me by the collar of my shirt and punches me in the face three times. A pain I know far too well. Groaning in pain, I kick him in the knee as hard as I could, sending him to the ground, blood dripping from my mouth. I look to my right and see my knife as I lunge for it, my actions are stopped by him grabbing a hold of my foot, smacking my chin to the ground. I turn myself over, pushing through the pain, and wrap my legs around his neck. I somehow manage to avoid his grasp and get behind him. I place my right arm around his neck and push the back of his head with my left. Much like his friend, I start to hear him choke, while he's doing his best to get me off of him. I tighten my grip and quickly yank his head to the left, hearing the crack of his neck breaking. As I let go of the lifeless corpse the pain rushes through my body. I come to my senses and run towards the desk. Please let me find the yellow envelope. I'm quickly rummaging through the drawers, throwing things everywhere. I can still hear footsteps from upstairs echo throughout the building. How the hell did he not hear? I attempt to open the last drawer, but it's locked.
