«If only it didn't start to rain... If only we could make it to the restaurant...» Armin looked at Y/N who was walking beside him, holding his hand. She walked slowly, because she had nowhere to hurry, Armin didn't tell his plans for the evening to her. She simply obediently followed him wherever he led her. But Armin couldn't just tell her they were late for something. He didn't want to rush her, because everything was going just fine so far.

«If it rains, well get wet... and its already windy outside, hope Y/N doesn't feel cold...» Armin was nervous, but he tried not to look tense so as not to worry Y/N. She looked calm, happy. There was a mischievous twinkle in her eyes and a soft smile on her face. She looked around, periodically glancing at Armin.

- Armin, are you okay?

- Yes, why?

- You look a bit confused. Did something upset you?

- It's okay, Y/N, don't think about it.

- Did the weather upset you? You were planning something for the evening, and the weather turned bad, didn't it?

Armin sighed, looked at her and smiled.

- The weather won't stop us from having a good time. Let's go.

He pulled her closer, kissing her briefly on the cheek, intertwining their fingers. As they walked on, the sky grew darker.

They didn't make it to the restaurant. They had only gone a couple of blocks from the hippodrome when it began to rain heavily. Y/N and Armin quickly ran under the nearest visor, having already got a little wet.

Armin felt that everything was ruined, but... he saw a smile on Y/N's face as she tried to restore her hair to its former pomp after the rain. Their clothes were a little wet and they didn't have an umbrella. There weren't many restaurants or shops in the area, there were food stalls and houses, and there was nowhere to wait out the rain. Armin was upset, he imagined this day quite differently.

Y/N noticed a change in her companion's mood.

- Armin?

She put her hand on his shoulder, leaning slightly towards him.
