A/N: another long chapter, I'm sorry but I don't really know how it happens

Armin woke up first. Opening his eyes, he glanced at the watch — it was half past six in the morning. He felt bad - he had a hangover. His head hurt and he was a little nauseous. He was glad that he decided not to go to work today, he obviously wouldn't be able to do at least some of his tasks in a worthy performance.

His gaze fell on Y/N, who was sleeping peacefully next to him. She hugged his right arm in her sleep, burying her nose in his shoulder. He smiled as he looked at her. She was most often serious, strong, and Armin liked to see her the way she is now - soft, defenseless. How she held onto him. Now she was a simple girl he wanted to protect. He wanted to give her happiness... He recalled their conversation at night - he began to appreciate and understand her even more. She was still very wise, looking somewhere deep into the essence of things, and not prowling on the surface. She wanted to avoid problems in their relationship as gently as possible, building a solid foundation for years to come. That she wanted to be with him in the long run gave Armin a lot of confidence in her and in their relationship. He understood his value to her.

He felt discomfort in his stomach. He really didn't want to leave Y/N, but he needed to get up. He gently slid out of her arms and made his way to the kitchen.

It was cold in the apartment. He poured himself a glass of water, which he immediately emptied. After pouring another glass, he went into the living room and lit the fireplace to warm the apartment a little. Outside the window, he saw how people were already in a hurry to work. The sun had only recently risen, so it was still a little overcast outside. Armin drank a second glass of water. Then he took a shower. But he didn't get better. There were still disgusting sensations in the stomach, and now and then - nausea. But he couldn't empty his stomach.

After pouring himself another glass of water, he went back to bed to Y/N. He left a glass of water on the nightstand on his side of the bed. He lay down in bed, staring up at the ceiling - he felt just disgusting. He closed his eyes, concentrating on his breathing, hoping the nausea would go away. He felt his head begin to slowly hurt even more.

- Armin?

He opened his eyes. Y/N woke up looking at him.

- Good morning, love.

- Have you been awake for a long time?

- No. Did I wake you up?

- No Do you feel bad?

- No, everything is okay.

- Don't lie. I see that you're unwell. You wince and actively swallow. Hangover and nausea?

- It's my own fault, don't worry.

Y/N moved closer to him, hugging him, laying her head on his chest.

- I can help. I'm a doctor. And I've had a hangover - it can be extremely unpleasant.

- It's good that I don't have to go to work. We'll lie down all day.

- You don't need to, but I need to get to work.

- Y/N... Don't go...

- I need to go at least for a couple of hours, I didn't warn anyone that I wouldn't be here today. At least you have a good reason.

- Then go quickly, so that you can return quickly.

Y/N giggled slightly, and, kissing him on the cheek, got out of bed. Walking over to the mirror that hung opposite the bed, she sighed.
