🌟Special for Christmas🌟

Earlier, I planned to write a whole alternative ending of the story, but now I understand that the idea was initially controversial for many. Nevertheless, I would still like to share this, at least as small ideas in the headcanons format.

It's Levi's birthday, so it's a good reason and the best time to do it, I think 💞

Like I said earlier, there should have been chapter 69 with an alternate ending. After kissing Armin, the first thing Y/N would think was that she didn't want Levi to know. This would be an indication to her that her feelings for Armin had cooled off and she really started to move on.

So...

What if Y/N chose Levi?

▫️ When Y/N said that she wanted to try to build something with him, he wouldn't believe it, he would dissuade her with his strict cold tone, as always. But in the end, he would have given up, because he valued her.

▫️ Their relationship would develop slowly, practically without changing. They would also work together, also drink tea every Sunday. After all, their relationship isn't about love. That's how they started.

▫️ They are both people who give their all to their work, their vocation. I think they would clearly set the boundaries between work and personal life, behaving extremely professionally in every sense.

▫️ Talking about the nature of their relationship, only their openness to each other has changed. Over time, they became more tactile to each other, no longer thinking about what they were doing.

▫️ I think no one would know about their relationship except Mikasa. I don't know, but I think it makes sense. And no one would have thought that there could be something between them. Yet, they successfully separated work and personal life, leaving everything behind closed doors.

▫️ They would definitely live in two apartments, leaving space for themselves. But Levi would rather visit Y/N more often than she visits him. Eventually, they would start arguing about her apartment being his home too, which Levi wouldn't want to admit, but Y/N would like him to leave his stuff at her place, at least some, because he set the rules for cleaning and controlled all sorts of little things in the apartment, like laying out clothes in closets.

▫️ I think Levi didn't want to admit that he needed her, that she was an important part of his life, he didn't want to admit to himself that he could depend on another person. He is used to being alone and doing everything himself. And at that moment, it wouldn't be easy for him.

▫️ Y/N, trying to get him to admit it, would bring a cat at home - after all, this is her house, and she does what she wants. Levi would be very unhappy with this, they would argue, but in the end, he would admit defeat. And the cat would stay with them.
