Special #3 - What if he listened to his heart

A/N: it's really unexpected special. I wrote it in one evening, if you like it, I can write a second part. It's Valentine Day, so love and be loved, I suppose.

Y/N opened her eyes. The room she was in was bright. She lay in bed, her body and head ached. She tried to understand how she got here. She tried to sit up, but faced pain in her back, which caused her to moan and lay back down.

- Y/N, are you awake?

She turned her head. Sasha sat on the next bed and ate a pie. Her head was wrapped in bandages.

- Sasha? Where... where are we?

- In the Capital. Apparently you got bad injuries, if you don't remember. What's the last thing you remember?

- «Hmm...», Y/N thought. «I got to you and went to distract Reiner. And then... He grabbed me and... Then, apparently, he threw me somewhere and then I don't remember anything. Did you somehow find me?»

- As I know when Levi and Hange were returning from the city with Eren and Mikasa, they found you. You yourself went to the wall. Although now I wonder how you did it in your state.

- Everything hurts, it's hard to breathe.

- Yes, your ribs are broken, your collarbone and skull are broken. But everything will be alright, it will take time. So the doctors said. But, for a week, you were passed out.

- A week?! Ah... how did it end? Was the mission successful?

- Y/N... I think you'd better wait for Captain Levi and Com... Hange to arrive.

- «Sasha? Tell me what happened!» Y/N found the strength to sit up. «Tell me what's up with the others! Are they alive? Say our friends are alive»

- Yes, our friends are alive. Look, I don't have to tell you everything. I want, I lack communication, to be honest. But...

- Nobody comes to us?

- No. I go out periodically, I can walk with my wounds, but after a while my head starts to spin. Jean and Connie are relaying the news to me, the situation is now... difficult.

Y/N decided not to continue the conversation, realizing that Sasha wouldn't tell her anything. «Even if Sasha is being so serious, maybe something really important happened... And why should I wait for Hange and Levi... I don't want to talk to him at all...»

After some time, Sasha decided to take a walk and left. At this time they had visitors.

- Oh, Y/N! You finally came to your senses!

- «Hange», Y/N sat back up in bed with difficulty. «I'm glad you... your eye?»

- Oh yeah, it's... Little things, I think. How do you feel?

Hange sat on her bed and Levi stood up, leaning against one of the walls, looking at Y/N with his usual gaze. However, in the eyes of both, anxiety and fear were read.
