As Y/N sat in her room, Eren tried to sort out the situation as he had promised.

- Armin! Mikasa! Where did you two run to?

- «Eren, not now», Mikasa approached him. She had a very sad expression on her face. «Give him a minute»

- A minute for what? If you're idiots like Jean, then...

- Yes, Eren, apparently, I was an idiot when I listened to all these jokes of yours about me and Y/N. I thought you understood, but you...

- OH GOD! ARMIN! DO YOU HEAR YOURSELF? DID YOU SERIOUSLY THOUGHT THERE WAS SOMETHING BETWEEN HER AND ME? OTHERWISE, WHY IS SUCH A REACTION?

- WHAT SHOULD I THINK?

- «You couldn't run away and get an explanation. Whatever you both heard and thought, it wasn't like that - if you thought the same as Jean», Eren rolled his eyes. «He only had brains for this»

- «Eren», Mikasa approached him and calmly asked, «So, what happened there?»

Eren sighed.

- «Actually, she asked me not to tell anyone. But this whole circus pisses me off, and I don't have much energy anyway... Y/N did some medical research. NO, NO, EVERYTHING WITHIN DECENCY», he quickly added as he saw his friends' eyes widen. «It has to do with the powers of the titan and all... She's kind of not sure if it'll give any results, so, she asked me not to tell anyone until she understands whether it'll be of any use or not... I can't say more, I promised her. She was kind to me when she was my «babysitter» when we lived with Levi's squad»

- «What was that about «the first time» and all that...», Armin asked him, still upset by what he had heard.

- Well, she's never done that before, I mean, she's only read about it. Well, I had no idea what she was going to do. And it hurt, I even had to rest a bit after... I was actually surprised that you could think that me and Y/N... were doing something? You didn't even really say what you thought, by the way? Jean thought that we were kissing and all other things... Of course, I told him that everything was wrong, but I don't think he believed in it.

- «We thought so too, Eren», Mikasa answered him. «Although, I had a hard time trying to figure it out»

- «How did Y/N react to Jean's words?» Armin asked Eren awkwardly.

- She didn't react at all. She didn't even listen to him. She told me that she didn't care what other people thought. That if people immediately draw conclusions, then this says a lot about them and stuff like that... There was something else about trust, but I don't even remember...

- Looks like I messed up...

A week has passed since the confusing story with Eren and Y/N. Y/N loaded herself with work, and she and Eren also resumed training. The day-off was good for Eren - in a week he and Y/N achieved excellent results: Eren learned to crystallize individual parts of the titan's body, and then return everything as it was. At first, everything happened spontaneously - instead of a hand there was a leg, instead of a fist - a head. But in the end, Eren adjusted the balance in his head.

In personal research, Y/N also had progress: she was 99% sure that the serum contained the spinal fluid. She had already studied enough about everything related to the titans. She thought that it was titan's spinal fluid that could turn other people into titans. It was the spinal fluid, and not the blood, as she thought before, because the spinal fluid carried much more genetic information. Nevertheless, she had another crazy theory about the nature of the existence of the titans, which she was afraid to set in motion in her head...
