"Jamie, I'm so glad you're here there is something you need to know," Chiara says rushing up to me and I frown as I look at her. I'd not slept well the night before and I had a rather crazy flight from Milan to the circuit at Paul Riccard and I was late to the track knowing that track walks will have begun.

"Uh, Chi, I have to go - I'm late but tell me when I'm back?" I ask her as I pull my hair into a slightly crazy ponytail and continue to walk through the garage, waving at people around me.

"Right, I know but you ne-" she tries again and I just wave a hand to stop her as I hold my camera and begin a light jog backwards to catch up with the navy and white Alpha Tauri clothing that is leaving ahead of me.

"Chi, I'm sure it'll be okay. What I need to do is go and get photos of the golden boy for the team because it's his home GP...that's what I need to do right now - whatever else can wait until I'm back. Trust me - I'll be keeping this very brief and get it all done in one lap and then you can tell me whatever you want - I love you!" I call out to her as I turn around and continue to jog to catch up to the group. I stop and lift my camera a few times in the process of catching up to get more distant angles but after a few minutes I jog so I'm right behind the team and smile as Yuki notices me and quietly dips away from his engineers and Pierre, smiling at me.

"Ah Jamie, I'm happy to see you - it's been crazy!" Yuki gushes and I chuckle as I continue taking some shots of the team.

"It's Thursday Yukes...how crazy can it possibly be?" I raise an eyebrow at him and he shrugs.

"Did you see all the fans?" He asks and I frown as I shake my head, motioning for him to join me in walking faster. "They're crazy..." he mutters and I let out a giggle which I see gathers Pierre's attention as we walk past the group so I can get in front, my heart beating a little harder when I notice his eyes on us. There are a few people around us smiling and waving in greeting to me which I return - trying to also ignore the Netflix film crew following Pierre as he watches me walk with Yuki, focused not on what his engineers were saying but instead on us.

I cringe away from the cameras and try and walk somewhere where I think I'll stay out of their camera shot. "Just you wait until we get to Suzuka...that will be crazy and amazing all wrapped into one!" I urge Yuki to think and I watch as a smile comes over his face at the mention of his home country as he nods and I lift my camera to take photos of Pierre and the team, biting on my lip as I concentrate on walking backwards, getting slightly distracted by Pierre looking at me as I take the photos. "By the way do you know what the big deal is - Chiara was trying to tell me something earlier..." I ask Yuki and bring my camera down from my face as I jog further away ahead of them once more, Yuki groaning as he has to try and keep up with me. I wave ahead to where I can see Mick and Sebastian walking the track together and smile when they respond similarly, dropping my hand quickly when I see other cameras on me. I turn around to talk to Yuki once more but when I turn it's not Yuki I see in front of me, Pierre is stopped right in front of me - having jogged away from the group that he was with.

"Jamie..." he mutters as though he's never heard my name before, any anger that has been in his eyes the last few times I've seen him seems to have disappeared. My eyebrows knit in confusion as I watch as he motions for everyone else to continue walking, that we will meet with them.

"What is going on today? Chiara was trying to tell me something urgently - Yuki says everything is going crazy..." I look behind me and see the rest of the engineers walking on without their first driver although all of them are watching us closely.

"My parents are here," he says and I nod slowly because I knew that - I was one of the only photographers in the paddock allowed to take photos of them this weekend. "They want to meet the person coming on the trip this summer..." he says and I continue nodding as my eyebrows knit together as he looks at me meaningfully, his blue-grey eyes willing for me to understand him but I'm afraid that I have absolutely no idea where he is going with this. "The photographer coming on the trip with us..."
