It only takes us seconds to get seated as we walk into the beach bar, perks of walking around with three F1 drivers I guess and when we get to the table, Pierre and Pyry are two of the first people to sit down. Chiara gives me a meaningful look as she pauses before taking a seat, giving me an option but I don't need her silent urging because I've already made my decision as I don't hesitate to take the seat next to Pierre unprompted.

I see both him and Pyry look at me surprised while I try to seem unbothered as I finally ditch my hoodie and place it nonchalantly over the back of my seat before turning back to look at the pair who are still staring at me like I'm from outer space while I fiddle to replace my sports bra and shorts so that they cover me a little more. "I can move?" I ask softly to the man on my right and see Pierre immediately shake his head, refusing the offer as he searches for the words.

"No, no, no!" He says as he finds his voice and I smile softly at him as everyone settles around us, seemingly quiet as if they're worried that they might move too fast and startle me to the point where I just leave. "I...hi," he says softly after another moment passes and I just duck my head in response, a blush covering my cheeks at the gentle excitement in his words. His eyes are shining as though he's just been told he's got a drive in a top car. I try to ignore the butterflies at his sweet and soft reaction to something so simple, focusing on the menu and letting my eyes run over all the options as I try to decide what I want. Miami food has been pretty great so far and I am hungry after the workout so it doesn't take me long to decide on a Cubano sandwich. I'm happy in my position but I'm also extremely nervous and aware of everything, especially my heart pounding nervously but it's moving faster than the thumping bass being played loudly through the beach club and so I know that isn't the cause.

"You drinking?" I ask Chiara who is sat on my other side and she grins at me as she nods, perfect, just the answer I wanted, I needed an excuse to move and re-gather myself. Plus, maybe some liquid courage. "Who else is drinking?" I ask the rest of the table and see everyone nodding in agreement. No more driving needs to be done by anyone today as the hotel is close enough to walk to and it seems that no one has anything else to do for another week and a half, so we're all in holiday mode. I get up before anyone can stop me as I head over to the bar and order a round of margaritas and a shot of tequila for everyone, the music pulsing in the background and people walking around in their swimsuits making me very jealous. At least the outfit I had on right now was pretty close to that of a sports bikini so if I really wanted - I could definitely jump in the pool that was just a little removed from the restaurant part of the club we were currently sat in. I knew it would only take a few drinks and I almost definitely would end up in that pool to be honest.

I slowly and carefully walk back to the table with an evil grin - watching everyone but Chiara put their head in their hands when they see what is on the tray but when I pass out the drinks I hear no complaints. As we cheers I see Chiara filming the moment and I throw a peace sign as I take a sip and screw my eyes up from the bitterness that I'm hit with - well, that'll be a fun story for people to see.

"You are crazy," Pierre says next to me and I just smile shyly as I watch him take a sip and cough from how strong the drink is. "Genuinely insane but this is nice," he continues and I know that he's not just talking about the drinks or the moment - but the fact that we're together and not too awkward. Or at least I'm trying not to be - but I am extremely aware of all my limbs right now. Before I can respond, the waitress comes over to take our food order which we all give quickly and I watch with amusement at her surprise seeing the four guys order salads while Chiara and I order substantial burgers/ sandwiches but just brush it off.

"Sooo...how's it going at Alpine?" I ask softly as I turn in my seat to face him, taking the opportunity to open up conversation with him before anyone else can and I feel relief when I see Pyry go to talk to Charles about his workout routine while Chiara and Nyck talk to one another, about what I'm not sure but I can tell that they are all giving us the chance to talk like they wanted us to the other night. I wasn't ready then but for some reason, maybe the tequila, I feel more able to talk to him now. I'm still nervous as I look at him now. I'm anxious because I feel like I don't know what to say or do but as his eyes meet mine I also know that I do, because I know him. Despite that, I'm still thankful I can hide behind the tinted lenses of the glasses he has just leant to me as his eyes stay fixed on me and he turns towards me as well, one arm reaching out to lean on the back of my chair as he watches me closely for a reaction, waiting for me to push him away again.
