"So...what do you want to talk about?" Daniel asks as we run through most of the normal questions and still have about half the time left that we put aside for filming the episode. I'm busy focusing on the road that I'm currently driving his gorgeous NSX down in Italy. It's the Saturday of the Imola GP and I was allowed to leave the track immediately after the end of qualifying because it was Alpha Tauri that ended up pushing me to do this along with Red Bull. Right now I was driving us to Monza where we were due to do hot laps with Max - my only bargaining tool was to hassle the driver that caused the whole situation a couple of months ago. It was a pretty long drive and we only had about forty minutes left so we had already been talking for a while.

"Er...I don't know hun, this is your podcast..." I mumble as I check the lane next to us and overtake a car, more than a little comfortable in the car being that it's not the first time I've driven one.

"We could talk boys?" Daniel asks with a smirk and I roll my eyes at the Australian who has quickly become a bit of a friend. Not super close but we know each other well enough to say hi and chat in the paddock when he turns up to a race.

"Sure," I say with a smirk and see his eyes widen out the corner of my eye.

"Really?" He asks shocked and I roll my eyes at his reaction.

"No, not really, dumbass..." I say with a smile and hear him sigh as he nudges my arm. "Idiot - I'm driving," I say with a burst of laughter at his action, hitting him on the arm as a pathetic attempt at retribution.

"Fine...what's your favourite car?" He asks and I laugh at the pathetic question but forgive him because we have had a decent time so far and some decent conversation about what it's like as a team photographer and how I spend my days, general growth over the last year as well as how I deal with social media.

"This one - why do you think I agreed to do this? I missed driving the NSX," I say as affectionately stroking the leather wheel and hear him laugh.

"Right, I thought I'd seen you drive one of these before...," he confesses, trailing off at the end because he knows it's about to open up a conversation I literally just shut down and I scrunch my nose as I debate whether or not to respond. Or how to.

"Yeah...P hired one when we were in France because he knew I was obsessed with them and was trying to impress me I guess?" I relent annoyed at myself but trying to be unbothered by what I was saying.

Pierre was good and so was I. We had messaged everyday since I left his hotel room, phone calls every night as well - not always long but if I had nothing to fill my time then we would quickly find that it was suddenly 1am for one of us. I was relieved when he hadn't followed me to Mexico as I had half expected him too. But he gave me the space I wanted to confirm the thoughts and feelings I was having when around him and I was beginning to feel more and more tempted to fully go for it with him - focusing more on training Lia, my little apprentice photographer so that if needed I could leave fairly quickly because they would have a stand in for me...although I still hadn't decided. We were already doing good at getting her better - happy enough to leave her at the track to deal with the post qualifying photos.

"It worked?" Daniel asks and I smile at the thought as I nod...the memories we made in France together last year...were definitely up there with the best of my life and several of them included driving the NSX.

"Yup...ways to my heart...food, flowers and sports cars," I mutter as he chuckles next to me. "How about you? What's the way to your heart?"

"Mmm...music, yeah music," he says after a few moments and I smile at that answer, thinking back to the playlist that Pierre had made and sent to me a few days ago labelled 'Our Soundtrack' - one song for every month that we had known each other...a lot of sad ones recently to represent the time that we were apart - but a really sweet one called Until I Found You as the one for this month. "Any musical talents?"
