Chap. 10 Jaiden

Audrey walked into the library to find Jaiden. She checked the history section, the fantasy section, even the biography section but couldn't find him anywhere. Finally, Audrey walked all the way to the back of the library. she found Jaiden curled up asleep on one of the chairs with a book on the floor.

"Jaiden, wake up!" Audrey said as she kicked his chair.

Jaiden woke up with a start, "Whaa..." he said as he fell to the floor. "I'M UP! I'M UP!" he shouted.

"Don't you have somewhere to be?" Audrey asked disparagingly "It's almost three, don't you have to meet somebody?"

"Oh crap! I've got to go." Jaiden said jumping to his feet.

Audrey sighed picking up the book on the floor. "Forgetting something Veerlander?"

"Oh yeah that, thanks Audrey, you're a lifesaver.'" Jaiden said as he grabbed the book and ran out the door.

."I know!" She said smugly before heading over to another section of the library.

Jaiden ran through the hall, and almost knocked Carina over.

"Why are you in such a rush? Fall asleep in the library or something?" she teased.

"Yes." Jaiden said, out of breath, "Audrey kicked my chair."

"Oh, I was only joking. I didn't think you really... Never mind, Headmistress McGonagall

was asking for you. I told her you'd be late, as usual, so you still have about five minutes." th

"I'm never late!" Jaiden argued.

"Uh huh. There was that one time..."

"Never mind!"

Jaiden rushed off to Headmistress Mcgonagall's office. Out of breath he stopped leaning on the door. He knocked.

"Come in!" said Headmistress Mcgonagall. "Hello Jaiden. Why don't you sit down." Jaiden sat down. "I want to keep this short so I am just going to tell you," Headmistress Mcgonagall stated "Eric is the Herbologist I was mentioning. His skills are on par with your transfiguration powers, which I might add are very impressive. but you will need to watch him he is a loose cannon and could endanger the entire school! Just be careful, I don't want my godson to get hurt." Thats when they heard the scream.
