Chapter 5 Audrey

    Audrey was a bit skeptical about the “Harry Potter situation.” Ever since the bad feeling she got a few days ago, everything felt wrong.

    “Hey,” Audrey said, pulling them aside, “maybe this Harry Potter idea isn’t so great. I mean, it was really easy to get him to help, maybe it was too easy.”

Jaiden crossed his arms across his chest and frowned. “You just don’t want to do this because you’re a Slytherin pureblood while Harry Potter and I are half blood Gryffindors, Calla being a Hufflepuff, and Carina is a muggle-born, Ravenclaw!”

“That’s not why! I just have this feeling.” Audrey argued.

“Audrey, seriously, what’s wrong?! You’ve had this bad feeling for practically this whole week! Do you honestly not trust that much to tell us what is going on?” Jaiden snapped back.

Audrey frowned and narrowed her eyes at Jaiden. “You guys are my best friends! How could you say something like that! I trust you guys with my LIFE!”

    “Do you? Do you really?” Jaiden retorted.

    “Um, guys, this isn’t helping anything.” said Carina.

    “Hold it Carina!” Audrey snapped keeping her focus on Jaiden.

Carina stood there stunned mouth gaping. Audrey was her best friend and despite the differences that kept them apart, they had always gotten along and now she she was acting like a Slytherin. One of the kind from Mr. Potter’s time. The kind that hated muggle-borns and other houses. But Audrey was her friend no matter what. What was going on?

    Jaiden stood there next to Carina and Calla. Audrey smirked then, taking a look at her friend’s stunned faces, realized what she had said and quickly covered her mouth.

    “Carina I’m so...” Audrey tried to say but was cut off by Carina “No. I’m so sick of you guys fighting. If you guys want to fight, leave me out of it.” she said stepping back, and storming off, crying and thenapparating away.

    “When did she learn that?” Calla said staring at the point Carina had disappeared from.

    “That’s not the point!” Jaiden exclaimed, angered. “The point is that Audrey upsether!” He took a step towards her. “What did you do that for?! She was only trying to calm YOU down!”

Audrey stepped towards him as well. “You KNOW I didn’t mean it Jaiden. I was angry and you know I’m recklesswhen I’m angry!” She said balling a fist with one hand and grasping her wand in the other.
