Agatha

I'd just finished performing and was heading to the dressing room when I ran into Riverain. I looked at her but she simply walked right past me. I noticed na ilang araw niya na akong iniiwasan. I assumed she was just busy at first, but every time we bumped into each other, she ignored me.

Hinayaan ko siyang lagpasan niya ako tulad ng mga nakaraang araw. I shrugged and continued on my way to my room. She might have become sick of playing. Kids will always be kids, you know. Pagkapasok ko iniligpit ko ang mga gamit ko at napagpasiyahan umuwi.

Pagkarating sa penthouse I did my normal routine. Dahil sa pagod agad na akong humiga sa kama para makapagpahinga na. My thoughts suddenly wandered to Riverain. Since I believed that we had been on good terms since our last encounter, I'll be honest and say that at first I was puzzled as to why she had suddenly stopped pestering me. Anyways, okay na rin 'yon, busy din naman ako. Inabot ko ang side table ko para pataying ang ilaw. I have to rest may meeting pa ako tomorrow.

I was busy typing when Sasha came to view. "Si ma'am Kate po male-late ng isang oras, naipit daw po siya sa traffic."

"Alright, thank you."

Our agreement was finalized two days ago. I made the choice to accept her offer. Kaya ang ending may lakad kami ngayon.

"Good evening Ms. Mendrado." Tumayo ako para salubungin si Kate na kakapasok lang sa office ko.

"Good evening Ms. Nimeñez." We're now in business mode. That's why, even though I don't want to, I have to be civil with her. "Let's take a seat."

"This is our agreement, paki-double check na lang." Iniabot ko sa kanya ang folder na naglalaman ng mga important information.

"Thank you, here ours." I double-checked each line to make sure both parties ay nakikinabang at walang lamangan, so far so good.

Nang makasiguro ako na okay na ang lahat ay pinirmahan ko na 'to. Inabot ko sa kanya ang folder pero nahuli ko itong nakatingin lang sa'kin. "Are you done?"

"Yes, and I trust you, so I'm confident I'm in good hands." Binigay niya ang copy na para sa'kin.

"All good, so far, everything is going as planned. I hope it keeps going." Tumayo na ako at inilahad ko ang kanang palad ko and she gladly accepted it.

"Be ready may pupuntahan agad tayo and it's about business so you have no choice. I'll send the information to you." She smiled at me, "too bad I have an important meeting kaya hindi kita magugulo ngayon. See yah in two days."

"Miss A nasa labas na po si Ms Nimeñez." Tumango ako dito at nagsimula ng ayusin ang mga nakakalat sa table ko. "Inutusan ko na rin po pala si Gab na ilagay yung mga gamit mo sa car."

"Thank you, Sasha." I made sure everything was clear before going out. "Sasha pag may problema call me okay?"

Lumabas ako ng shop ko at dumiretso sa sasakyan na gagamitin. The car door unexpectedly opened, revealing Kate, who was beaming brightly. "Hi, Agatha." Bumaba ito at hinintay akong makasakay ng sasakyan. I just gave her a simple smile.

"Gusto mo ba kumain muna?" Tanong niya ng makasakay siya. I glanced at my wristwatch to see what time it was. We still have enough, so perhaps we'll just get something to drink in the drive-thru.

"I'm fine with coffee." Sinabi niya sa driver na mag drive-thru sa kung saan may coffee. "I'll take a nap."

"What do you prefer for your coffee?"

"No sugar, thank you." I leaned my head against the window and closed my eyes.

Because of this business trip, I canceled all of my appointments and asked Gio for a three-night break at the club. Labag man sa loob ko na hindi ako makakasayaw favor naman sa business ko kaya pumayag na rin.
