Everything is ready, sila na lang ang kulang. I'm patiently waiting for them to arrive. I'm glad that Riverain decided to come back here. I really miss having her here when I get up each morning. Though for sure sa tabi siya ni Kai matutulog, still makikita ko pa rin siya every morning.

Pinalinis ko ang buong pent house, especially ang kwarto na gagamitin nila. Pinapalitan ko lahat ng bedsheet, pati ang mga tuwalya sa loob ng cr nila ay pinabago ko rin. Nagpalagay rin ako ng mga bagong damit para sa kanila, it's one of my surprise for them. I even bought some toys and art materials for Kai, in case na gusto niya maghanap ng mapaglilibangan.

"What took them so long to arrive?" I checked the time on my phone, they should be here by now.

Nagpunta ako sa kusina to check the food if mainit pa. Maaga ako nagluto dahil sabi niya maaga sila pupunta. Pagdating ko kusina hindi na gaano kainit ang mga pagkain kaya naisipan kong initin habang wala pa sila. Anytime darating na rin 'yon sila, maybe traffic lang.

Isa-isa ko ulit itong inihain sa lamesa. The doorbell rang unexpectedly while I was busy preparing the food. Maybe it's them. I quickly finished what I was doing and washed my hands before heading to the door. Huminga muna ako ng malalim bago ito buksan.

Masayang mukha ni Riverain ang sumalubong sa'kin, she's holding in her right hand si Kai, "Hi, love." Pagbati niya

"Hello." I smiled shyly at her. God, nagkita naman kami kahapon, but even now, the sight of her makes me excited.

"Kai, si ate Agatha mo yung bumisita sayo nung nakaraan?" Tinignan lang siya ng mabuti ng kapatid niya, "Dito rin tayo tumira before, yung maraming masasarap na pagkain! Say hi dali."

Nahihiyang tumingin ito sa'kin, "Hi po, salamat po."

That's the longest sentence I've heard from her since we've talked. Because of that, I approached her with caution and sat in front of her. "Welcome home, Kai." I gave a warm smile and she replied with a light smile on her face. I'm glad we're starting to have a conversation for the first time.

"Tara pasok na kayo." I opened the door widely for them. I tried to help Riverain to bring their things but she insisted on carrying them alone.

"Love, hatid ko muna sa kwarto mga gamit namin ah?" Pagpapaalam nito bago dumiretso sa kwarto nila dati.

Hearing her call me love has become familiar to me. It's as if it came naturally from her lips. Nilapitan ko si Kai para alalayan na pumuntang kusina, thankfully sumama naman siya sa'kin nang walang pag aalinlangan.

Pinaupo ko siya at binigyan ng tubig. Kai really improved a lot. I'm glad effective si Dr. October sa kaniya. We talked the last time and she said that Kai was responding well. Nage-effort din daw talaga siya.

"Wow daming food ah? Luto mo lahat, love?" Saad ni Riverain nang makapasok sa kusina. She kissed me on the lips nang makalapit ito na siyang kinagulat ko, "oh bakit?"

"It might trigger Kai, right?" The last time I did that to her, sinuway niya ako.

Niyakap ako nito at tinignan sa mata, "Its just me being a jerk that time."

"Ayos lang 'yon, I know you're just worried about Kai."

"Pero-"

I gave her a peck on her lips to cut her off, "Let's eat, alam kong gutom ka na."

"Busog na ko sa kiss mo pa lang."

"Really? Kai mukhang tayo lang kakain, tara na?" I looked at Kai and winked at her.

"Eto naman 'di mabiro." She kissed me one more time bago tumabi kay Kai. "Nandito rin yung paborito ko! Thanks, love!"

I took a seat in front of her, it made me smile when she took my plate para lagyan ng pagkain. Riverain is really sweet in her own ways. I was about to eat when I realized something, natawa ako ng bahagya.
