It's been a few weeks and everything and everyone seem to settle down a bit. Mia was starting to come out of the hole she was in and witnessing it was the happiest and saddest thing because no one deserved to be put through that.

Training was happening again and everything was in a way the same before our vacation. I haven't recovered from Brenda's passing and I don't think I'll ever.

I'm glad I said my goodbyes.

Christmas was coming up which is my favorite holiday besides my birthday. I have the perfect New Years dress and lipstick, I'm gonna be a fucking star.

Even though I tried to go for the positive, or at least that's what I tell myself, I know I'm still hurt about Brenda. My heart aches and I can't bear it at times.

A light knock comes through the door and at this point I memorized everyone's knocks and footsteps.

It was Silas.

He walks over to me with a warm smile and an old looking royal blue box. "Here," I looked at him with confusion. "It's a jewelry box, I was out and thought of you when I saw it through the glass."

I felt a smile grew on my face. Silas and I became closer over the past couple of days. I liked hanging out with him. Silas was like a dandelion in a storm.

"Thank you Silas, I love it." I hugged him before he turned around to leave. "We're still on today right?"

"Yea of course, I'll see you in a few," I answered back before looking back at the jewelry box he gave me. It was a deep blue with a soft material that made my figures run along it.

Ever since we came back, it was a bit hard to adjust to the fact we have to go back to our regular schedules. Truth is, we miss our old lives. Well pieces of it.

The idea of being a wild teenager who gets drunk everyday and who is never home, I longed for that moment.

Silas and I made plans to go out for lunch. We needed time away from everything.

I was a bit shocked when Silas and I just clicked one day. For a person who is calm and the other how would film running over a person, was the best duo.

We arrived at the cafe and sat down. I was planning to stuff my face with a burger but a coffee in a children like tea cup would do.

Silas ordered for both of us, since it was my first time here. As time past and the conversation grew, I realized how alike me and Silas is.

I was practically the wild girl version of him and he was the calm clear skin boy of me. "We should have hobbies," I glanced up from my empty coffee cup I basically chugged down once I got my fingers on. "What do you have in mind?"

"Painting, photography, biking, and I already took up reading." I remembered when I would come home from school everyday, and drown myself in a novel. I miss it.

"I like reading, I'm just in a slump in the moment," I laugh it off. I looked at him, the wind blew perfectly through his soft hair. I wish my eyes took pictures, this would forever be my favorite.

"Yea we should take up photography and the other ones you suggested, I need to get out the house more and distracted so I'm up if you are."

It wasn't even a second and he nodded. "Perfect, we can look into it tomorrow. We should get back before they send out the guards again."

"Ugh." He chuckle while I drag myself back to the car.

A.A: Welcome back my loves!! Ughh i apologize to everyone who waited patiently for this chapter. And I unintentionally sorta.. took a break for a year. Yes I know, you don't even have to tell me. But I haven't went or barely was active on here so I will have to reread the book and make slight changes.

I also apologize for this chapter since it's so short and is poorly written. Thank you for everyone who stayed and buckle up because the rest of the book is gonna be a wild ride for the both of us. I love youuu
