"Alright people, we're now heading to...Liyue!" Lynn cheered, blinking in surprise when she saw that the Liyue citizens looked down. "What's wrong?"
"...Have you forgotten that...our archon...died?" Chongyun asked with a slight stumble of his words.
"But isn't-oh yeah, um, sorry about that." Lynn, who was about to point out that Zhongli was still alive and well, remembered that it was supposed to be a secret and just apologized. It was useless in her opinion, though, seeing that they would learn the truth soon.
"Let's just watch." Shenhe said which Lynn obeyed.
The scene opens up with Lumine and Paimon talking in the middle of Liyue Harbor.
"If you wanna find the Geo Archon, this is the only chance you'll get all year." Paimon began. "Guess it's a good thing Venti brought it up earlier, otherwise we definitely would've missed this year's Rite of Descension."
"Probably would have been a good thing." Lumine grumbled. "Considering the amount of effort we had to do to prove our innocence."
"True." Paimon agreed before glaring at Childe who looked at them innocently. "No thanks to someone."
"Come now, comrade, I did introduce myself as a bad guy." Childe said.
"You said you're kind of a bad guy." Lumine corrected. "Plus, you said you didn't want to fight me."
"They're the same." Childe shrugged.
"On the contrary," Scaramouche said with a scoff. "they're different."
"Are you really having this conversation?" someone from Snezhnaya said, amused.
"Yes." Lumine said pettily while glaring at Childe.
"Do you know when it is?" Lumine asked.
"Uhh..." Paimon scratched the top of her head. "might be today, might also be tomorrow... Look, we're already in Liyue so let's go ask some of the locals."
"Really, Paimon?" Amber teased. "Aren't you supposed to be her guide?"
"Hey!" Paimon argued with a pout. "Just because I'm her guide doesn't mean that I'm all-knowing!"
"But you should know something as simple as that." Kaeya added with a teasing grin as Paimon huffed.
"Oh, right." Paimon suddenly remembered. "About the Geo Archon, "Morax"... Did you know? The Mora that we use is named after this god."
'And yet he's broke.' Lumine thought in amusement. It seems that Childe had the same thought as he snickered.
"But it's seen as impolite for people from outside Liyue to refer to the Geo Archon by that name. So we should refer to the Geo Archon by the name Rex Lapis, like the people of Liyue do."
"So many names, isn't it confusing?" Kaeya complained.
"You'll get used to it." Keqing replied. "Besides, there's only two."
"It can still be confusing." Kaeya said. "Why can't you guys just pick one like Barbatos?"
"Why don't you ask our archon?" Keqing sarcastically replied.
'But he's dead...' he wanted to say but thought it might offend and hurt others so he kept quiet.
