Hi everyone, sorry for the long wait :(

Life's still busy and my childhood dog recently passed away so I lost a lot of motivation to do pretty much anything (e.g. writing stories and talking with other people online). Buuttttt, I've now recovered (kind of) and will start writing again.

I probably won't be able to keep up with the once every two weeks kind of schedule though, especially with how long Sumeru and Fontaine are so please be patient with me! ^_^

PS: I still haven't done the 4.7 quest so if there's any inconsistencies... yeah :3

PPS: I'm now wondering just how I was able to juggle school and life in the past without losing motivation in writing, even managing to keep up with a schedule for quite some time... I'm proud of you, past self :)

~ Dedicated to my dear family dog who, although we never got along extremely well, is someone precious and very dear to me. We'll miss you, Fluffy. ~

"Alright, is everyone okay enough to continue?" Lynn asked the moment she noted that everyone finally returned to the room. Different sounds of agreement were heard, most easily well enough to continue except for some people.

"I...I think?" Nilou smiled nervously as she held a cup of warm tea.

"I think we're all going to be okay as long as nothing more shocking happens," Collei hesitantly responded.

"Yeah," Venti nodded in agreement. "As long as nothing worse than what we've just seen is shown, we'll all be fine."

"...Oh," Lynn replied after a few seconds. "Okay, let's...uh... continue." she pressed play and sat down but not before looking at everyone and whispering 'good luck'.

The screen showed someone opening their eyes, the person looking around only to see green everywhere.

'That place!' Nahida unconsciously shrunk into herself, nervous at the reaction of the people. She knew now that most of the people in this place aren't as cruel as the sages and values her as an archon regardless of how insignificant her contributions are for the last 500 years. Still, a small part of her feared how they would react to see just how useless she was, allowing herself to be trapped in a ball without trying to escape. 'Will they scorn me and call me useless like the others?'

Noting that there is nothing of importance, the person looked down and saw small hands.

"Small hands?" many were confused.

'Ah, could it be?' some thought, having connected the dots as they glanced at the small archon who was looking uncomfortable in her own seat.

'Is she alright?' a few thought, wondering what's bothering her but didn't say anything as they had a feeling they would know soon.

The screen then panned out to show Nahida's body floating on air, confined in a small bubble inside a large chamber.

Silence...

...Then...

...Pandemonium.

Everyone started shouting over each other, some pointing, others  standing and the rest just trying to process what they have just seen.

"You..." Ei, just like everyone else, was speechless at the sight before her.

"They dared to imprison their own archon in a ball?" Zhongli seethed.

Most of the ones in the room, if not all, knew that Nahida was trapped by the sages. It had been hinted numerous times, after all. However, none of them expected her to be isolated in a ball as if she was a simple animal instead of the archon of wisdom.
