"What was that?" Dehya asked in shock, her eyes never leaving the item on the floor.

"Oh yeah, they just finished watching the priest's memories," Thoma said before sounding sympathetic. "It must be hard on them."

"Yeah, they have to question everything they learned from childhood," Chongyun agreed with the same expression.

"Add to that their newfound realization about how the Akasha system is being misused and how their archon is always present, watching over them," Xingqiu added.

"They really lived a life full of lies," someone said with pity.

"The priest's memories," Al haitham calmly stated.

"No... no! Impossible!" unlike Al haitham, Rahman was far from calm as he yelled in disbelief.

"Ah, how pitiful."

"Unlike the others, he had an extremely strong faith on king Deshret and deep hate on the previous dendro archon so to see that they were friends must have deeply affected him."

"Hopefully, he doesn't lose his mind and attack them," someone from Fontaine worriedly said.

"Well, even if he did, I doubt he could harm them considering his state of mind," Gorou mused.

"True," many agreed.

Cyno had a thoughful expression. "Greater Lord Rukkhadevata... So the former Dendro Archon and King Deshret were never enemies at all."

"But... this doesn't make any sense! The Dendro Archon's followers... they're clearly..." Rahman was in clear denial even if his voice became weaker.

"That's just the sages' teachings, no?"

"Yeah, many became hostile to them because of the Sages' actions."

"And for the nth time, I still don't understand why he's still in position."

"I'm still curious as to who changed the narrative and made them enemies."

"Was that the former Dendro Archon? She became so tiny in the end," Paimon mused.

The air in the room became serious again.

"That's right..."

"To think that the dendro archon..."

Many looked at Nahida who squirmed in her seat, uncomfortable. After all, she was never used to being under the spotlight, especially now when she was apparently Rukkhadevata, just the smaller version.

"I still don't believe this nonsense," the Sage scowled. "That priest must have been crazy to think of such a thing."

"What do you think of it, Zhongli?" Venti asked.

"What do you think, Barbatos?" the man questioned.

"Well," Venti grinned cheekily. "I don't care since Nahida's Nahida. Whoever she was in the past isn't my problem."

Zhongli softly smiled. "Indeed, there's nothing to say since she's the current dendro archon, the past is not that important today."

Ei simply nodded. After all, she doesn't pay attention to things like this so why would she care that Nahida was the previous dendro archon? Ei never really interacted with the previous dendro archon anyway so she had no reason to feel anything towards her.

"Hahaha, true, true, raise your head, little one, don't think too much about the past if you're not interested," someone from Natlan claimed.

"Indeed," someone from Fontaine agreed. "Nothing will change whether or not you're the past dendro archon."
