Everyone gathered around the room the next day, waiting for Lynn to arrive to start the video.
"Hello!" Lynn greeted as she entered the room with a large bag.
"What's that for?" Ganyu asked curiously, many noticing that it was zipped so no one could see what was inside of it.
"Just for emergencies." Lynn smiled which unsettled the people. Nevertheless, no one complained and the screen was turned on.
The screen opens up with Lumine and Paimon walking around Inazuma.
"Inazuma's not such a bad place, Paimon's having a pretty good time!
"It was pretty fun." Lumine agreed. "Ignoring the whole battle and fights, at least."
"Don't forget the scammers." Kuki added.
But... we should probably go and see about the "next operation" that Thoma and Ayaka were talking about, right?" Paimona asked Lumine who nodded in agreement. "As usual, it's the first stop, Komore Teahouse. Are you ready to head over?"
Lumine nodded again and the two visited the teahouse.
Chapter II: Act II
Stillness, the Sublimation of Shadow
"What a strange title." someone from Fontaine said. "It doesn't seem as obvious as the others."
"How strange... It's never this quiet here." Paimon mused when they entered the quiet place.
"Woof, woof... woof!" Taroumaru, the dog, suddenly barked which gained the two's attention.
"Thoma's playing his ventriloquist game again, huh?" Paimon sighed before calling him out. "Thoma... Thoma..."
There was no reply as Taroumaru continued barking: "Woof! Woof! ...Woof!"
"I don't think your friend is playing around, the dog sounds too angry." Collei said as Lumine pursed her lips, remembering the day.
'So we're finally watching this scene.' she thought before slightly glancing at Aether who looked bored. 'I wonder how he'll react.'
She hopes he would react a familiar way - to show her that her brother was still there, the smiling, gentle Aether and not this abyss prince Aether.
"Hey, you can come out now... Paimon's seen you already..." Paimon frowned. "Huh, not a peep... Ugh, so where the heck is he, then?"
'Oh, you know, just imprisoned and prepared for the Shogun to steal my vision in front of all Inazuma.' Thoma thought bitterly, realizing what the video would be about.
"Woof, woof, woof! Woof!"
"Huh? What's got Taroumaru so worked up today? He's always such a good boy..." Paimon wondered.
Both Ayaka and Ayato frowned, understanding what they would watch as they looked at Thoma who looked determined.
"Can you handle it?" Ayaka asked in worry.
"Don't worry, milady, milord, I can." he assured the siblings who looked like they didn't quite believe him but nodded in agreement. After all, they can't force anyone to do what they don't want to do.
The two continued to look around until they heard rushed footsteps. They turned to the source, only to see Ayaka running towards them with a worried look on her face.
Some Inazumans looked surprise, not expecting to see a slightly haggard Ayaka who was usually the epitome of etiquette and elegance.
'Why is she- ah.' Yoimiya realized next, understanding why her friend was in a rush.
