HO HO HO Merry Christmas (happy holidays if you don't celebrate it)!!

Do you all really think I'd be that cruel to leave you all for a long time? Of course not~ Although my update schedule will still be a mess, I'll definitely start updating again! :3

And unfortunately, I have been busy with life (money really does make the world go round T_T) but I don't really want to stop writing and disappoint all of you (plus it's really fun writing this and very useful in helping me understand characterization) so I decided to keep updating, just with fewer words for each chapter (i.e., before, each chapter has 10k+ words and only published once every few months. Now, I aim to write each chapter with more or less 10k words and publish them at least once every one to two months).

Hope this is good for you all (not like I can change it anyway hehehe)~

"Alright, let's continue," Lynn announced as some people groaned.

"Can we really not skip to the interesting part? I'm extremely tired of seeing green."

"Like how this one is tired of seeing purple even if his color scheme is also purple?" Mona asked with a raised brow as she pointed at Scaramouche who rolled his eyes. "Are you also dressed in green?"

"No?" the person responded as they looked down at their clothes.

" Don't worry," Lynn assured them. "Things are becoming more interesting now."

The screen showed Al haitham, Lumine, Paimon and Isak standing near of Cyno.

"So, where do we go from here?" Paimon asked.

"Cyno, do you remember the route you took?" Lumine added.

"It would be funny if he doesn't," someone mused.

"Please," another from Sumeru laughed. "The general mahamatra failing to catch a criminal because he forgot which route he took... how laughable."

"It is pretty absurd," Collei agreed with a nod.

"And impossible," Cyno bluntly said. "I've already memorized the entire Sumeru so I will never get lost."

Cyno nodded. "Yes. After leaving the village, we should head straight toward the desert." He then began walking as the group followed.

"I know the desert like the back of my hand!" Isak boasted.

"Oh?" someone from Snezhnaya smirked. "Care to test that? Go leave him in a random part of the desert and see if he will escape."

"How cruel..."

"What did he do to you?"

"Must I repeat myself, he's annoying."

"He's a kid."

"Exactly. Kids are annoying."

"Is that because you play here a lot?" Paimon asked.

"Yup! One time, Grandpa almost got lost in the desert, but I was the one who brought him back."

"Aww, how sweet."

"He's definitely a good child," Keqing nodded.

Paimon looked interested as she opened her mouth to speak when Cyno suddenly stopped.

"Why do you look so interested in his story?" Lumine asked Paimon.

"Paimon just wanted to learn more since Isak seems to love his grandpa," Paimon smiled sheepishly.
