The screen opened up to Cyno, Lumine and Paimon approaching the two guards.

"Guards," he called out. General Mahamatra!? T—To what do we owe the honor?" one of the guards, Gaete, stuttered as he asked.

"He really has a bad reputation among his peers."

"Right? Everyone we've seen, well, mostly everyone who saw him shrieks and cowers."

"I mean, he is kind of scary with how serious he is in fighting and how he attacked the traveler simply because she was with the scribe but yeah, besides that, he's a good person."

"If you exclude his jokes," someone murmured.

Cyno frowned, displeased. "Keep your voice down. This is a secret operation. I'm going to arrest a large criminal gang near this location. According to the Akademiya's Guide and Regulations on Secret Operations, I have the right to ask for the cooperation of Caravan Ribat."

"Ah, so you're going along with the scribe's plan," someone from Natlan mused. "I thought you'd alter it, even a little."

"Well, they do want to honor and respect the mercenaries' desire and choice," Heizou said.

"Ah, of course, of course! Mahamatra Cyno's order is the Akademiya's order. Just let us know what you need," Gaete smiled. "But who exactly are you planning to arrest, and how many people are you expecting? Depending on the scale of this operation, we may need to report it to our superiors."

"Wait, but I thought he was exiled so why would they still treat him like a boss?" Chongyun asked.

"It was self-imposed," Tighnari reminded. "The lower members of the Akademiya were probably not informed."

"With how secretive the Akademiya is, that's most possibly the case," Cyno agreed.

"They're a squad of Eremites whose number is comparable to Ayn Al-Ahmar in Port Ormos. They're involved in the theft and resale of supplies from the Akademiya."

Gaete looked freaked out. "As many as Ayn Al-Ahmar!? This should definitely be classified as a joint operation."

"Then I suggest that you report this to your superiors as soon as possible, and treat it as a top-priority desert operation. I will need personnel," Cyno responded.

"Wow," some said in awe.

"I know that we already saw him being serious but it's still weird to see him so serious."

"Right? Makes you wonder if he even takes a rest day or something. Surely he can't be strong everyday."

"Oh?" Cyno's eyes shone. "Do you know when I become weak? It's during Monday to Friday. Get it? Because they're weekdays which means I'm also-"

Tighnari covered Cyno's mouth as he looked at the people with a face filled with suffering.

Silence filled the room before people started groaning.

"Oh come on!" someone shouted.

"Really? I prefer the serious version of him."

"Why would you even talk about the days of the week when we were talking about you!"
