Beautiful (Kitsune! Luigi x fem! Reader)

Luigi found it hard every day of his life, stepping ever so cautiously around the mushroom kingdom without making anyone find out about it.

He was a Kitsune, being able to transform into a light cream coloured fox with multiple tails. Somehow he gained this 'curse' as he calls it, not really remembering how.

The naive plumber thought that maybe he was special, but that wasn't the case...Daisy immediately rejected him and left him in the dust.

Mario couldn't help but stare at his brother sadly, "Luigi, you need to lighten up a bit..." he was right of course, but how could he?

"So many people have rejected me bro!" He growled, showing sharp fangs, Mario didn't flinch, giving his brother a hug from behind. "You know Luigi, you call it a curse, but someone out there will believe your great..."

Luigi looked at his brother with such a cold expression, how could Mario be so sure about that? "Maybe you should get some fresh air? that will help." The red plumber suggested.

Sighing, Luigi nodded slowly and ran his fingers through his hair before placing his cap on his head, "alright, I'll see you later bro."

Mario waved his brother off and Luigi walked around the town, he really wanted someone to love, he really did.

It hurt so much to see couples around, even Mario had gotten married to peach, planning to move in with her soon, but only when Luigi had finally gotten someone.

He had gone through at least four people, who found out about his mishap and left him. "I wonder if anyone else is like me..." he mumbled to himself so quietly, "is there a cure? Maybe a reason why this happened?"

Luigi had then suddenly stumbled upon the library, rolling his eyes, he went in maybe somewhere there were books that could help but he doubted it...

However when he tried looking in the folklore section, he found many books missing, "wow! That's amazing!" He heard a voice exclaimed quietly from one of the tables.

It was a woman who had the missing folklore books, writing stuff on paper, "maybe some point e gadd can help me..." that's when Luigi realised it was Y/n.

They had been friends for a long time, Luigi couldn't deny his little crush on her, but when he became who he was, he shut himself away from her, and turned to Daisy...

Yeah that was a huge mistake.

That's when Luigi realised he was staring, and the h/c woman looked over at him, "are you alright, Luigi?"

"I-I yes, I'm alright, I was just looking for a specific book...one on Kitsunes," Luigi mumbled scratching the back of his neck.

"Oh I have that here I think!" The lady chirped, she glossed through the books she had, "this one?" She held up the book and Luigi nodded. "If you want you can join me on my research, that was actually the one I was gonna start."

"Really?" He smirked at the h/c haired lady, she nodded happily as she opened the book. Flicking through pages. Luigi sat down beside her, feeling his worries melt away.
