Take it easy (Luigi x fem! Reader)

It was over, Y/n stared at the red jewelled crown on the ground, the fire still roaring in the background.

"Is it really over?" She whispered towards Luigi, the plumber picked up the crown with wide blue eyes. "Yes, it's over..."

Suddenly a loud deafening roar erupted from the bowser costume as it crashed to the ground, Luigi quickly shuffled out of the way in order to not get crushed.

"That was close!" He said in a shaky voice, in a matter of seconds the two find them self back at the alter.

Y/n looked around and sighed in relief, then the game boy horror could be heard ringing. "Are you two alright? That was an impressive battle!" E gadd said in amazement.

Luigi chuckled, "yeah, but nothing can get past me and Y/n!" The woman snorted with a playful eye roll.

"Now how about you bring your brother back to the lab?" The professor stated, They both turned around to see the red plumber asleep in the painting, "poor lad, he must of dozed of in exhaustion after seeing you..."

Y/n carefully grabbed the painting, examining it he frame and how Mario did look like an amazing piece of art, mainly because she doesn't have to listen to him.

"Are you sure your machine will work?" Luigi muttered worriedly, E Gadd nodded. "If King boo used it to free the portrait ghosts then I'm sure freeing Mario will be easy, I'll be waiting for you three."

He hung up and Luigi sighed heavily, "don't worry," Y/n said reassuringly, "everything will go back to normal!"

She gently kissed the plumber on the lips and he followed her out of the alter a blushing mess.

After Mario was released from the painting and the love birds were able to get a new house after the mansion disappeared, the forest had become more lush and the sky now turning blue.

However Luigi started to quickly worry about Y/n she was constantly out of the house, helping toads, tending to peach's flower garden, even trying to help Wario and Waluigi with their tennis skills and becoming better people.

It was clear that was the woman was doing was burning her out, she was barely getting any sleep anymore and it killed Luigi on the inside.

So when darkness set over the mushroom kingdom, Luigi didn't go to sleep at the same time like he usually did, instead he left the house in search for his beauty.

"Thank you Y/n!" Mario sighed in relief, he was covered in oil, Y/n was panting rubbing her forehead, "your welcome, the kart should be in perfect shape!"

The red plumber then saw his brother and waved, "evening bro, say you'd normally be asleep around this time, is everything alright?"

"Not exactly, I need to speak with Y/n," Luigi said, crossing his arms, she looked at him in confusion. Mario narrowed his eyes between the two before leaving them alone.

"So what's wrong?" Y/n asked as they started making their way back to the house. "I'm just saying, your kinda pushing yourself too far don't you think? Look at you your a mess!"

The h/c haired woman sighed, "your right, but I felt like I was actually doing something good when we were clearing out that mansion!"

Was she trying to say she wasn't good enough? They got to the door and Luigi looked into her e/c eyes. "You don't need to do all of this to make others proud of you..."

Without warning Y/n locked her lips with his, and it became a scuffle, Luigi opened the door quickly as he felt himself being pushing onto the couch.

It was a very passionate kiss, with Y/n obviously being the dominant one. The two pulled away with a gasp for air, "I-I'm so sorry!"

"No, it's alright..." Luigi huffed as he fixed his overalls, "that was pretty good not gonna lie." Y/n chuckled awkwardly as she got off him and lifted him up.

"Let's make our way to the bedroom, you need a good sleep," the green plumber stated as he practically dragged Y/n over to the bedroom, they got changed and quickly snuggled under the covers.

Y/n pulled herself closer to Luigi and he felt butterflies in his stomach as he kissed her on the forehead.

There was a comfortable silence between the two as the moon was now in the sky, it's silver rays shining through the window, and the fireflies outside danced together with the cricket chirps.

Y/n heard her alarm go off, groaning in annoyance she turned it off quickly, "you have an alarm set this early?" Luigi mumbled, his eyes were still closed as Y/n turned herself around to face him.

"It's usually the time I get up to help everyone..." she stated, speaking of which she had to get up. However before she could even turn back around to get out of bed, Luigi pulled her closer to him.

He chuckled, his eyes now open, "your not going anywhere." Y/n tries to protest, but the plumber quickly kissed her to shut her up, the kiss lasted longer than the one from last night, but soon they parted and Y/n was a flustered mess.

"We've been through a lot, the mansion, taking down ghosts and king boo..." Luigi whispered, hugging Y/n closer, "can't we just spend today as just the two of us?"

The h/c haired woman nodded as she nuzzled into Luigi's neck, "yeah, I suppose so..."

"I suppose so? Y/n I'm very hurt," Luigi gasped dramatically, Y/n laughed before shaking her head, "of course we can spend today together, happy?"

He nodded with a small smile and Y/n felt her eyes beginning to close, not having to get up early felt like a blessing...

"Let's get some more sleep," Luigi mumbled as his eyes closed and his breathing quickly slowed down. Y/n smiled and let herself fall asleep too.
