Unhealthy Obsession (Mario x male! Reader)

Not requested this time, just wanted to give Mario some love!

Y/n was sat with peach and Mario, however the male was far from having a great time. The princess was constantly all over Mario.

It wasn't really known, but the male really liked the red plumber, but seeing how much time he spent with the princess, Y/n knew that he liked Peach.

Y/n stood up and walked away from the two without a word, Peach tried asking him what was wrong but he didn't listen, deciding to let go of this stupid crush, since he knew Mario wouldn't like him back.

Little did he know, he already got his heart...

As Y/n locked up for the night, he let out a long sigh, however heard a loud noise from outside. "Hello?!" Is what Y/n yelled as she opened the door.

There was no answer and Y/n just left it as some wild animal going through the bins, He got changed and hopped into bed. But couldn't shake off the thought that something was watching.

"Oh sweet muffins!" Y/n groaned as he scrambled to close the door of his house, he had accidentally overslept and was going to be opening his bakery late today... "it's only 11:30, only an hour late, not really that bad..."

As he walked along the path, he felt as if someone was walking incredibly close behind him, he turned around and was met with Mario's gorgeous blue eyes, "oh! Mario, you scared me!"

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean too," he talked smoothly, sending shivers up the taller male's spine, "so where you going?"

"I need to get to my bakery, I'm late actually, so I'll have to go!" Y/n quickly stated, However Mario then placed himself at the side of the h/c haired man, "I could walk you there if you wish?"

Y/n didn't hesitate to accept, however the whole way there, Mario held his hand and hummed. They arrived at the bakery and the toad employees all put on their little aprons and started working.

Mario insisted that he should stay, which Y/n allowed. "Hey, babe~" the h/c haired male stared at the customer with a cold glare.

"Get out Waluigi..." He growled at the tall lanky man, the pink nosed, ugly grinch snarled back. "Aww come on, I just want some cake~"

He grabbed Y/n face and the toads started to screech at him, and the customers were clearly not happy either. "Your making my bakery mouldy...get out!"

"No I don't think I will sweet cheeks!" Waluigi spat in Y/N's face, then he collided to the floor, "DIDNT YOU HEAR HIM? GET OUT! AND DON'T TOUCH HIM!"

The lanky frog was quick to flee and the place became bright again, "thanks for that Mario..." Y/n whispered with a slight blush.

"Don't worry about it~" Mario hummed sweetly, "how about we go outside for some air?" Y/n nodded and followed the plumber out and sat on a bench, "do you mind if I sit next to you?"

Y/n raised a brow, "no? Of course not?" Mario quickly sat close, very close, to the tall male and stared at him. "Umm Mario your staring..."

"Sorry, it's just that you've got those eyes that drive me crazy..." he whispered softly.

"What?" Y/n questioned, But Mario quickly started talking about other things, soon the day flew by and Mario had sadly said his goodbyes to Y/n.

The male locked up after everyone left and started walking home but couldn't help but feel eyes on him...Y/n shook off the thought and entered his home and quickly got ready for bed.

He didn't really feel hungry, after all he felt really uncomfortable with the feeling of being watched.

"What the-?" Y/n whispered to himself as he saw a pair of eyes watching from a tree, the unsettling thing was that the shadow was very human. "Just ignore it..." he quickly looked away and turned the light off.

But maybe he should call up someone for help? Like the police, he grabbed his phone and was about to call 911 but saw that the shadow was gone.

Suddenly Y/n was pinned against the wall by a small man, how the hell was he this strong?! More strange was how was he even pinning him?

"Mario?!" Y/n yelled, "what the hell are you doing?!" Mario pulled the tall make to his level and covered his mouth, "shut up!" He hissed.

"You want to know why I'm here?" Mario laughed, "I adore you, I adore you so much it hurts! You just don't know it yet but you love me! And we will have a pretty wedding and I'll be your everything!"

Y/n stared at the plumber with a raised brow, "you do realise...I do love you, right? I just never said anything because of peach."

"Oh, so you were jealous? Just means we are one in the same~" he whispered, causing Y/n to shiver, he then narrowed his eyes, "your a little insane huh?"

He then laughed loudly, messing with the straps of his overalls, "all for you dear~"

"Now, u were talking about a wedding right?" Y/n chuckled, "take it slow, though." Mario then dragged the taller male in for a kiss, pushing him to the bed in the process. "No, how about we take it fast?"

It had only been 6 months, and everything did go fast, it didn't take long for Y/n and Mario to get married.

Y/n was currently sat on the sofa, reading a book whilst the fireplace was crackling, it was snowing outside but He don't really feel like going out.

"What you doing, hun?" Mario whispered into Y/N's ear, almost causing the h/c haired male to smack him with the book his was reading. "Holy mushrooms you scared me!"

Mario laughed and jumped onto the sofa, sitting beside his husband, "you know I'm glad we got married so quickly!" The red plumber smiled.

"Why do you say that?" Y/n questioned, "we're you that crazy for me?" Mario blushed lightly, he knew that was mostly the reason.

"There's actually another reason," Mario mumbled, Y/n placed his book down and faced him, the plumber then climbed on top of him. "I just wanted us to be together forever~"

They then locked lips and made out on the sofa, it was just them and the dancing flames setting the atmosphere. "Why did I marry you?" Y/n laughed as they pulled away, Mario snorted, "because you love me."

Y/n rolled his eyes and they became locked in another kiss, it was clear that they would never ever part...

They really got each others heart.
