Busted and Blue (Mario x fem! Reader)

Much angst is about to take place, play the music if you wish :)

Where does it come from? When everything was outside, busted and blue.

Mario looked towards Y/n with his cheeks dusted pink, "why did you ask me to come here?" She questioned as she looked at the lowering sun.

They were sitting on top of a hill, watching as the moon rose on the other side of the dark sky and the stars began to shine.

How in the universe, through the lithium, Busted and Blue.

He looked into her e/c eyes, covering his face in embarrassment. Mario hadn't been so flustered over love before.

"W-well, I really like you Y/n," he stuttered, the woman knows that he never stutters at all. She looked at him with wide eyes.

"Y-you do?" She mumbled out, he nodded slowly as he turned away. "Wow, this is all so sudden..."

Silence gnawed at the air, Mario was too scared to say anything else. "I'm sorry, but I...I'm not ready."

Before Mario could even say anything, she started to fade. He tried to reach out for her but she had already disappeared.

I was asked by a computer, a shadow on the wall.

The red plumber gasped as he woke up, cold sweat dripping from his face as he looked around.

He was back inside his room...it was all just a dream?

Mario's eyes flickered around, feeling himself paranoid as he felt the world around him warp, he wasn't in a good place, he never was.

Feeling shadows dance around his room, taunting him about his love sickness.

To amplify the sirens, and to find real amends.

Quickly, the plumber got dressed and went downstairs, Luigi looked at him with worry.

"Are you alright bro?" He asked as he lifted himself off the couch, "you look...pale."

Mario let out a shaky sigh, "it's nothing, just another bad dream..."

I'm through the echo-chambers, to other worlds away.

"Maybe you should let it go..." Luigi mumbled, however Mario quickly grew angry and pushed his brother away from him.

"No! How can you say that?!" He yelled, quickly opening the front door, "I need some air."

Luigi didn't even get a chance to respond as the door slammed shut.

He stomped through the mushroom kingdom, toads trying to say hello to him cheerfully only to get silence by the cold aura looming.

Mario didn't even speak to peach anymore, he then looked up when someone stood in front of him.
