Crashing into your heart (Rosalina x fem! Reader)

Y/n was desperately trying to get her shuttle to work, panicking at the blaring alarm going off, she had put so much work into this!

The reason why she was currently in a shuttle in space was because it was her dream to see the universe in its fullest, Mario and Luigi had been up there, and the young woman also wanted to see it too.

But she never knew how her brothers were able to get up there, so she built a space shuttle, that was now crashing down and Y/n was sweating in fear, thinking that death was quickly approaching.

In only a matter of seconds, the ship caught on fire and Y/n was now ready to accept that this was the way she was going to die. The wind was knocked out of her as the shuttle crashed onto some grassy planet, and she flew out, hitting the ground with a harsh thud.

As she closer her eyes in exhaustion, she saw a star with eyes floating above her.

Rosalina was currently reading a book, sighing heavily as she closed it and looked out of one of the windows in her castle.

"It hasn't been the same," she whispered to herself, she had always been lonely up in the galaxy, sure she had the lumas but have humans up here was amazing, it was sad to see Mario and Luigi leave so quickly.

The blonde lady was broken from her thoughts when one of her lumas crashed through the window, "ow!" It squeaked, shaking itself off, "there's someone here!"

"Really? Where?" Rosalina stood up, wand held gently in her hands. "They're on the planet the Mario bros landed on-"

Without any warning rosalina traveled to the planet, seeing a space shuttle on fire and a young lady with h/c hair on the grass passed out.

"Move away from her..." the princess softly spoke as she instructed the lumas gazing down at her to give her space, they did and Rosalina quickly knew who it was. "Y/n?"

She had seen the lady many times when kart tournaments came up, and was embarrassed to say that she did have a crush on her.

Rosalina was cut from her thoughts when Y/n groaned in pain, so the princess picked her up, determined to help her out.

Y/n groaned in agony, feeling pain everywhere in her body, as she slowly opened her eyes the woman noticed that she wasn't in her shuttle, nor anywhere near it.

In a panic she tried to quickly sit up, but winced as shocks were sent down her body. "Where am I?"

"Your safe," A delicate voice spoke, Y/n twisted herself around and saw a blonde woman carrying a tray that had food on it. "Don't worry I'm only trying to help you..."

Y/n felt herself relax, but then questions started to fill her mind, "where am I? Who are you? Where's my shuttle?"

Rosalina chuckled at the many questions, causing Y/n's face to heat up. "Dear, relax, your in my castle, and I'm Rosalina...I thought you would've know that..."

The h/c haired woman thought for a moment, her eyes then widened as she remembered, "sorry that I forgot...maybe it was the crash..."

Both women laugh at this, but Y/n shook her head, "and my shuttle?" The blonde princess looked concerned.

"I don't know if it's fixable...I do have a few toads here, but I'm questioning if they can do it." She stated. Y/n sighed heavily, maybe she wouldn't be able to go home?
