A Little Bit Of It (JENLISA)

Chapter 8: Another Day.

School, another f-cking day. As I walk pass through this crowds, a long thai girl stood tall upon the others, walking my way towards her a sudden hand pulled me away from the crowd, covering my mouth as the person does so. Struggling, I elbowed their sides but failed to deliver. "Stop, stop, don't make this any worse Jennie" Obeying their command I behaved like an innocent child.

Turning my head sideways I was faced by a tall not to mention good looking guy. "Thank you for that wonderful entrance, who the hell are you exactly?" Sounding irritated as I can be. "My name is Lee Min-ho, one of your fathers' friends at the office, he told me to keep an eye on you, making sure you don't skip or do anything reckless." Great, another one of the Fathers' so called friends. Sometimes I wonder how could Mr. Kim even have any friends, or are they even friends.

"You know the least my father could actually do is trust her daughter" Rolling my eyes. "I believe your father haven't told you" Curiosity kicks in I asked what it was, not surprised by his response, apparently Mr. Kim is being hunted by these unidentified group of men. "So, to cut things short, he's asking you to watch over me while he's being  tailed by these group of men?" Nodding in reply I hummed.

"Thanks for telling me but please don't do the whole covering my mouth thing again, I might just think you're actually the person who's stalking my own Father." He smiled and bowed, apologizing for his poor decision making.

Instincts kicking in, I remember I stil have class to attend. "May I please be excuse, I still have classes to attend" He scoot over to the side and bowed once again. "No need to bow Mr, please let's just be civilized no need to be formal" I smiled at  him and paved my way through the crowd.

Hours later class has officially begun. Typical me, all I did was observe the outside world, watching the trees sway as the air brushes through leaves. Closing my eyes a sudden hand was felt against my back. Screaming was my go to.

"Are you okay Miss Kim?" The teacher asked, looking to my side it was only Lisa. What is it with people touching me all so sudden? "I'm fine Sir, please proceed teaching" 

"What the hell Lisa" annoyance was visible as I spoke those words, she slightly bowed her head and apologized. "What do you want?" I asked. "You left this morning without saying goodbye, is everything okay?" Right, I wasn't able to give her a proper good-bye. Adverting my eyes elsewhere, her sudden actions made me gulp. As we held each others' hands quietly, she patiently waited until I was ready to speak. Should I tell her? Should I trust this woman fully? 

Scoffing at my thoughts as I realized how silly they were, of course I trust this woman. The moment I dialed her number on my phone to call for help, from then on I knew to myself that I have trusted this person with all my life. Taking a deep breath I replied, telling her all the things that have happened from the texts to the guy who have grabbed me this morning.

"Wow, you have quite a morning I may say Miss Kim" Her eyes widening at the info's that I have just told her. "Right?" She nods in reply and placed a finger on her chin, thinking, analyzing the things that I have just said. "Something about the guy you just said is weird." Humming in reply I asked how. "You said he grabbed you, right? If he was indeed a friend of your father's shouldn't he at least be more careful at handling you? Base from what you've just said, your father sounds like a very formidable person. I mean, if you were my daughter and I just found out that my friend did that to you, I'd be beyond angry at him" 

Realization hits me and she was indeed right, but knowing my father I know he couldn't care less about her own daughter. I don't even know if Mr. Kim loves me as his own. "Fair point, but my father treats me like shit, so I wouldn't be surprise if he told his friend to treat me like one too" Replying as I returned my attention back to the window.

"Say Jennie, wanna stay at my place?"

Facing her, my vision went blury, recalling to what she had just said. Could this be a sign for me to leave Mr. Kim's place and start a better life with Lisa? "It sounds like a wonderful offer but, knowing my Father, I don't think he'd allow it." 

She smiles and places a hand on my shoulder. "I'll ask him, properly introduce myself and reassure him that you'll be safe with me." I smiled at her statement and a hint of nervousness appeared hoping that my Father could actually listen and not do anything foolish.

After some time class have officially finished, Lisa and I ate lunch with Jisoo and lovely Rosé. They sure does make a great couple, sometimes I couldn't help but wonder how people realize that they are actually in love with one another, I mean. How can someone be so sure of the other? Especially with the whole world going on, trusting people is the least thing you'd wanna do. Unless, maybe they're risk takers. They'd grab the opportunity if there was one.

"Seems like your mind's busy" Looking at her I couldn't help but smile. "My apologies Ma'am, I like to keep my mind busy. Especially at times likes this the sun is setting, the sky is covered with orange, bluish color. I'd do anything just to see this part of day." She smiles in response and quickly held my hand. "You know Jennie, I really enjoy your company, the things you do, they never fail to put a smile on smile on my face. Say can you do something for me?" Tilting my head, I nodded. "Close your eyes but don't let go of my hand. Okay?"

"What are you-" Before I could finish my sentence she places a finger on my lips and told me to just do it. Slapping her finger off I quickly obligued to her request. Closing my eyes I felt her movement shifts from beside me to now behind me. She invades my space with her body letting me feel her  warm arms around me, her scent enveloping me, her breathing hitting my nape and for a second I felt my heart skip a beat, having the feeling of my knees weakening from the action sent shivers through my spine. 

"With the time passing by us, I felt the courage to whisper these delicate words. To you I surrender, to you I submit. As we continue to spend more time together, the feeling of protection devours me completely as I felt the need to always be there with you. Through the darkess night this world could ever offer, I promise you I will always be there with you no matter how different our distance can be. I Lalisa Manoban submits to you Jennie Kim"

She spins me around until I was face by her comeliness, staring deeply into her eyes, I saw a Lisa that only I knew. Her eyes sparkled like the stars and filled with emotions that I myself is not aware of yet, perhaps it's hunger, the need to be wanted, questions eating me alive.

"I," words could barely leave my mouth, stuttering, shaking, nervousness everything felt too much. The sudden words Lisa used, rather than feeling awed I felt pressured. I've never experience such strong emotions coming from someone aside than myself, looking at her she was waiting. F-ck, what do I do?

Switching my attention from one thing to another, Lisa places a hand on my chin and held my face in place. My eyes staring back into hers, her eyes filled with seriousness. "Lisa, I.. I don't know what to say, it feels sudden." Removing my face from her touch and without having any second thought I found myself running away from her, looking behind I watch her disappear into a bliss.

I'm so sorry Lisa.
