Here I am, breathing, feeling the cold air rush through me. Hoping, praying that maybe Lisa would wake up any moment. As I continue to stare at her lifeless body, I thought whether or not I should listen to Jisoo's advice, me actually.. letting her go.
Smiling at the thought I scoffed, I know better than to let her go. Whispering the words I said, Come on Lisa, I know you can do it. As soon as you wake up, I'll be here, I promise to come running into you arms the moment those eyes of yours open my love.
21:30, it was almost getting late and Jisoo kept beckering me asking me what time was I arriving home, updating me that I'll be home alone tonight with a reason that she and Rosé will be celebrating out. I didn't ask for anymore details as I didn't want to meddle with their business.
Honestly speaking, sometimes I couldn't help but wonder if ever they felt annoyed with the idea of having to take care a grown-up like me. They're thoughtful, they try their best cheering me up, I mean they were.. really there when I was at my lowest.
I reached home and the first thing I did was yell that I was indeed home, informing the house that I was home has been a routine for me. Despite being left alone, for some reason I always felt the need to still yell. Grabbing my phone, I dialed Jisoo number and told her I was able to reach home safely.
The two were definitely out celebrating, hearing the loud music and people cheering for something certainly reassured me that they were at a bar. Bidding my good-byes with Jisoo I paved my way up in my room and softly plumped myself on the bed. Sighing I checked the time, it was only 22:00 , I still had enough time to either write a journal or fast forward my day. Either way it was still going to be the weekend tomorrow.
15 minutes later, I ended up having a pen on my hand and a blank page in front of me. Looking straight ahead made me remember how similar this setting was back at my parents house. However, the difference is there isn't a window in front of me. Nothing for me to admire.
I give up. I'm not in the right kind of state. Standing up, I decided to just go out for a walk. As soon as I stepped out of the house, everything felt peaceful. Staring at the stars from above I smiled peacefully. I can't wait for you to wake up Lisa, I whisper to myself.
Grabbing my phone and my earphone I plugged it in and immediately went to my playlist, stopping as soon as I saw the song titled Paninindigan kita by Ben&Ben. Closing my eyes, I sat by the porch.
"Paninindigan kita oo
Mamahalin kitang buong buo
Kahit sa pagtanda ako'y sayoPaninindigan kita oo
Anumang sabihin ng magulong mundo
Kahit ayaw nilang ako'y sayo
ika'y iingatan ko"Singing along the lyrics, a sing tear dropped. Please fight for me Lisa, please? It's always going to be you Love, always, no matter what. No matter what happens I'll always love you, I'll always be here with you through thick and thin love. I whispered, hoping the heavens hears me. Putting the song repeat, I didn't realize that I ended up falling asleep on the porch.
The next morning, I woke up on the couch with the smell of eggs and bacon cooking from the kitchen. Walking quietly I was greeted with Rosé cooking and her ever loving partner Jisoo back hugging her. Looking at the two I couldn't help but feel a bit of jealousy.
Back then this view was so similar to how Lisa and I was. I'd be in the kitchen cooking our food while Lisa annoys me in the best way possible. Sighing in response I decided to go back on the couch and scroll through my gallery. Most of the pictures were Lisa, her nose and us.
God I miss you so much Lisa.
"OH! You're awake! Good-Morning Jennie" Jisoo greets with a smile and her voice filled with excitement. I smiled back and said good-morning as well. "Let's eat? Chaeyoung has already prepared our breakfast." Standing up I then realized that Jisoo was in a much more brigther mood than usual. Seems like someone really had fun yesterday.
As soon as I sat down I was greeted by an angry Rosé. "You were sleeping at the porch yesterday, you could get sick! Lucky for you, I insisted Jisoo on coming home early yesterday. Please be careful next time Jennie, you know Lisa will get angry at us if she knew that you were sleeping outside."
"I apologize, I didn't mean to fall asleep yesterday outside. The weather was just nice and combine it with the birds chirping and the winding flying through the yellow-green leaves was just.. peaceful" I bowed showing my deapest apology for my reckless actions.
Jisoo plays a hand on my shoulder and smiled, "Speaking of Lisa, we were planning on visiting her today, wanna come with?" She asked, her eyes shimmering from excitement. Smiling at the offer I humbly declined.
At first they were both surprise but when they heard the reason they both respected my decision and left me be. Hours later, they both have left and made sure that there was food on the table incase I got hungry. Seconds later, I received a text coming from Kai, a classmate of mine in class, however I don't really remember which class exactly. I guess it wouldn't be too rude if someone told me how much of a bad classmate I was, especially never really remembering my classmate.
Hi :)
He sends. Quirking my eyebrow from the sudden message, I decided to officially leave him on read. God knows what this man's intentions are.
Just on read?
My phone vibrates, checking once again it was a message coming from Kai. Sighing in defeat I replied to with a hey. Surprisingly, he immediately replied and asked if whether or not I wanted to join him out for a walk. After humbly declining his offer, he didn't take the no as an answer. He kept insisting that I should go out and promised me I would have a good time.
Giving up, I accepted his offer. Just form the text he was already annoying me, with the idea of him not respecting the word NO just says everything about him. Standing up from the couch, I went on preparing myself and head towards the bathroom for a shower and decided to wear a shirt and a pair of jeans matched with a Velosamba Cycling Shoes. Looking in-front of the mirror I smiled. Okay Jennie Kim, let's just enjoy today with this Kai guy.
Stepping out of my room I made my way towards out the house, texting both Jisoo and Rosé that I was going to be out. The two sent a picture with Lisa on her bed, shaking my head I took a deep breath before making any further steps towards the park which was just around the corner.
As soon as I arrived at the park, there I saw Kai. Standing, playing with the little kids, his eyes disappearing from how he smiles and her lips, curling in the most perfect upward form. His hair slightly messy but had the perfect shade of pink. He was wearing a plain black shirt, which matches her jeans paired with a bag that hanged around his chest. Not to mention his height, he's definitely someone you'll be remembering for days.
Running up to him, I smiled. He smiled back and gave me a small wave. For some reason, I felt something beat inside of me. Not knowing what it was, I decided to push it aside. "Hi Jennie" He speaks in his softest voice. "Hello Kai" I replied with a smile. Maybe.. this wasn't a bad idea after-all.
