Ch-19. Finally some relief.

"M-..mother..? N-no. Who are.. Are you..?" Anim asked he stood up and walked towards her. She had this gentle smile on her face she bought one hand towards Anim's Cheek. She caressed it as Anim couldn't help but lean into her touch.

"You.. You didn't answer my question.. " Anim said as he looked at the women, "well... I think you already know that answer." She answered.

"S.. So this all.. All this is.. It's real?"

"Mhm.. I know it's hard to believe but.. It's all very complicated.." She said as she let go of Anim's cheek and began walking to a bench. She sat down as she patted the seat besides her.

"Ani.. Sit down. I think I can answer some of your questions while we still have time." She smiled, "and I also wanted to talk to my dear Son.. Ha.. Never expected you to grow so old now.."

Anim hesitantly sat down and fidgeted his hands. "So, since you will answer some of my questions.. Am I.. Like dead??"

"Hmm.. Well, you did die, but you have the Kurushimi blood flowing in you. So as of right now, no. The blood that flows inside here is special... Just like you.. It doesn't let you die easily, it will always recover you. Even if it takes years to do so..." She told, "hence why your breathing is slower then normal humans. I too was surprised when I discovered it."

"... Aho.. Huh- well.. Okay." Anim nodded, atleast he wasn't dead. "If.. If I am not dead. They you aren't too right? You and father must be alive then?"

She shook her head with a sad smile,"your father was normal Human, he was the best man I had ever met but.... after being Murdered, your father died with your in his Arms. You were still.. So young to realise how to revive yourself.. I had to use up this blood to activate your consciousness faster..."

"So... You also died..." Anim looked down sadly, His mother patted his head. "Then.. How are you talking to me? What were these vivid dreams about?"

"The dreams were just your memories restoring, it's not really the best process but what can be said about it." She spoke, Anim just gave her a look, "that is not very convenient." He commented as he His mother simply laughed. "I know~ I know~"

"Well, how are you talking to me right now?" Anim questioned. "Well.. You can call that.. Hm.. Magic" She exaggerated.

"That is not a convincing answer mum."

"Worth a shot you know, you used to love these jokes"

"... I get where my sense of humor comes from now"

"Well, you are my son after all. You are also kind and cute like your father."

They both chuckled at these silly little conversation, calming down, Anim sighed as he looked at his mother and hugged her. "I.. I never remembered you.. I am sorry.."

"It's alright.. It wasn't your fault. Sometimes things are just not in our hands." She patted his head as she placed a kiss on his forehead.

"Hay.. Mother? I know your dead an' all.. But can I find your remains.. Or grave.. Or someone like that somewhere?.." He asked as he looked up at his mother, she happily nodded.

Anim smiled and was about to ask where but a small buzz sound started to ring in ears. "Ho.... It's that Buzz again"

"Well I suppose it's time for us to say goodbye." She patted her head, "goodbye Anim.. Me and your Father wish you the best for your coming future.."

"Yeah.. Thank you.." Anim smiled and he watched everything turn white. A small whisper of 'I love you!' Was the last thing he heard before everything finally ended.

Anim woke up. Right where he started. His arms were crossed on the grave as his head was rested on it. He rubbed his eyes and he yawned. He didn't release how long he has been passed out for.

"Whoa.. It's night time already?.." He questioned as he got up and started to walk back inside the mansion. This time, he was not horrified by whatever happened. In fact.. He was happy..

He finally got the answers to some of his questions and he could give these nightmares a rest. All he wanted to do now was sit down, have a cup of tea and relax. God knows how long he has been sleeping there. Wonder if anyone noticed?

Anim opend the gates as he sneezed. He got inside, only to be pinned to the door by Subaru, "where the hell were you for half of the danm day!?" Ho shit.

"I uh.. Passed out actually-" He rubbed the back of his neck, Subaru was clearly pissed about Anim's recklessness. "Why you- ugh.." Subaru sighed as he looked down as he freed him.

Anim looked at his concern looked, "I.. I am sorry.. I know it was reckless. But I didn't knew I would collapse there so.." He spoke a bit quietly as he tried looking at Subaru's face.

"... You will be the death of me Anim." He sighed, Anim being Anim. Didn't knew what to say about this. Subaru grabbed his hand and stated to drag him away. "Hmm? Where are we going?"

"I am putting you. In your room. Otherwise God knows where you might be falling down and over about." He was pissed but that did make Anim chuckle.

On the way they both passed Shu sitting down on the floor. "Whoa, the floor must be real comfortable for him." Anim spoke as Subaru also noticed the guy.

"It's really not, but there isn't other quite place in this whole mansion surprisingly" Shu spoke up as he opened one of his eyes. Almost straddling Anim and Subaru, nobody can really tell when he was awake or when he was asleep.

Shu slowly got up, as he looked down at Anim. "So, where were the whole afternoon?"

"Wow, imagine being asked the same question twice" Anim let out a dry laugh, "well, to properly answer that, god said 'you shall collapse outside in the cold' and I said 'yes sirrrrr'" He answered with a smile.

Subaru hand just made its way to his face covering it. Shu stared blankly at him.

".... Ho come on. It was funny!"

"We can see that." Shu mocked as patted his head. "Alright, you two be off. Go rest" He started to walk away. Anim waves a good night as both Subaru and him started to walk to his room.

Subaru dropped him off to his room. He was about to leave but Anim held on to his hand. Subaru looked at him, "what?"

".. Thank You, you don't need to worry about me anymore. Start taking care of yourself more..." Anim smiled at Subaru, Subaru may, or may not have had a blush on his face. "Your... Your crazy.."

"I might as well be.." He let go of his hand and walking back inside, "good night"

Subaru watched Anim close the door and walked away with a tch. He could have sworn that Anim is crazy to think He would worry about him. he was... He was crazy.
