Ayato asked as today he was sitting besides Anim while the little guy was just looking out the window with a very small smile. He found it irritating and intriguing so he just asked. Anim when heard this question, didn't exactly knew how to answer.

One of hand he could start a roasting war and get scolded by Reiji, Other he could just say that he was having a good day. Hmmm what shall this Npc choose?

"Hmm... I don't know" Anim shrugged, "the things that were bothering me are no longer bothering me and now there was no need for me to be bothered so i am not going to bother with it as well." And then he turned his head to look at the window.

Ayato was sitting, with an o face. ".. What the hell did you just breathed out in one go without even using a comma-"

"Oh my.. I said that, the things that were bothering me before are not bothering me anymore so I am bothering with them either. Why are you bothering with it so much when I am the one who should be bothered with it?" Anim took in a breather and looked at Ayato with an innocent face.

"Oi, oi, oi! You are doing this on purpose! Confusing Ora-sama like this is unacceptable" Ayato claimed as Anim breathed in another time. "My god Ayato! Why don't you get such a simple thing. I said that-"

"Shut up you two." Reiji commands as he sighed. It was like watching two toddlers fight over stupid things for absolutely no reason.  Anim nodded and looked out the window again. Anim was holding in a laugh when he saw Ayato just huff and sit with his arms crossed. Needless to say, Anim is quite good at being a gremlin.

Exiting the car, everyone began walking back home as Anim lazily existed the Car. Since he was nightmare free today, and no family dinners were happening either, he would just stay looked in his room, sleep in warm Dinosaur sweeter which he called, 'ah yes, it's time.'

He would have played video games, if it wasn't for the fact that his Phone was broken in the beginning of the story. Nor he owned a gaming port, or a Ds. Or anything like that. "Living the life of a hobo kid, let's go" He cheered Sarcastically.

Upon entering his room, He was so ready to throw his thoughts out the window for today and just go in a limbo of sleep. Quickly freshing himself, he took out. The thing.

"Ho my god! You are so gorgeous as ever!" Anim said looking at the sweater and wore it. And then he arranged his bed, and layed down. Ah yes perfect.. Just so.. Prefect...

Nevermind, he lied. Of course he wouldn't any sense of relife in this good forsaken household. He opened the door with annoyance, "who the hell is it?" He asked with a pissed off smile. Only for it soften when he saw who was on the other side of the door.

"H-ho... Am I bothering your sleep?.. I.. I am sorry. I'll just leave.. " She said as she looked down sadly. "Ho.. Well yeah you were but it's fine... Come in, come in" Anim stepped aside from the door as Yui entered. Anim turned the lights on as he went to sit on the bed.

"So? Did you needed something?" He asked, Yui say down at a chair in front of Anim, quite at a distance but close enough for both of them to hear what the person was saying.

"No... I just.. I wanted to ask if.. " She fidgeted with her fingers as she didn't look up at Anim. "If you have started to like it here.."

"What?"

"Have you, Anim. Have you began to like staying here."

Anim was silent for a while and then he spoke up, "and what makes you think that?"

"Well, you have gotten so used to staying around the brothers, all the while you laugh and hang out with them like they are your friends. They also don't try to bite you as often and usually stay on normal terms. You too have not been making any efforts of escaping... It feels like I am the only one being kept here for my blood and there own personal pleasure.. I am the only one trying to make desperate Attempts to escape from here..."

She spoke as he kept her gaze down at her Fingers. she never wanted to say these words, but it was becoming impossible for her to even ignore all the time Anim talked to the people who kept on hurting her as if nothing had happened.

"I..." Anim was at a loss of words. He didn't knew what to tell her.

All this time, he has been selfishly collecting information about him and his past, he wasn't wrong in doing so but that had slowly made him walk away from Yui. The two were somehow trapped in the same situation yet the reality was so drastically different for them.

It's funny how it works. Both of them were stuck here, both of them have a tangled past, both of them deal with vampires. But the way they handle these situation varied so much... But that didn't disregard the fact that Anim have done nothing to help Yui. Even when he knew he could, but he didn't.

She didn't say anything wrong either. He has grown a bit used to this place, maybe the kindness of Subaru have started to rub off on him. Or... Has he really grown used to this place..?

"I.. Yui.. I don't think I have started to like this place.. But it's not- Like-.. I was.. Stuck with finding out about myself. " He told, he didn't have a proper explanation. His words fumbled as he wasn't able to make proper sentences.

"Anim, it's not about what you think. You could think you are doing everything right while you ignore everyone else around you!" Yui raised her voice a bit as she looked at him directly, "It's been so long, so long since we have been here! And I have seen you do nothing! Nothing to help us out. Since the day we came here, I have been tossed around like a rag doll while you somehow kept getting the free pass to walk away!"

"Yui... " Anim muttered as he tried reaching out to her, she slapped his hand away as she was forming tears in her eyes.

"I want to uncover about my family too.. My past.. But I wanted it to happen with you... But it seems you have just decided to stay here." Yui got up and startes walking to the door.

"Yui wait.. I- I can explain" Anim stood up as well and followed her.

"Can you really?..." Yui looked at him. Anim fall silent again. "Subaru confronted me in the afternoon... He told me that I should run away today while I have time, I wanted to run away with you. But then I thought 'ho you might just be able to survive here or run away.. In fact.. You could have if you wanted to.'"

"Yui that's not true-"

"Then what is!?" Yui screamed. "Then what is Anim!? Since when did he start to drift apart so much that you can't even share anything with me!"

"Yui please calm down..."

"How do you expect me to be calm!! You have never, not even once told me that you have collapsed Twice! While those other vampires know full-well about you condition!!"

".... I.. "

"If you won't help me.. If you want to stay here... Then fine.. I won't stop you, but just so you know.. I always thought that we were good..no.. Best Friends..."

And just like that she went away. All her bottled up feelings of the last couple of days were now finally washed out of her, as she cried silently about what she has just done.

Both of them got faced me almost identical situation, but one was selfish... While the other was oblivious.... Until it was too late to make the right call.

Anim always thought that his critical thinking couldn't go wrong, he knew he was being selfish... He knew everything.. He knows almost everything.. Yet he is choosing not to tell.
