Another school day.
Another search.
Another failure.

Subaru looked at Anim holding the book with numbness in his eyes, which reminded him of his mother. Anim was sad, distressed and unorganized. He wanted to give up and just surrender to whatever was about to come his way.

"Hay.. You doing good?" Subaru asked as it snapped Anim out of his thoughts. As he looked up at Subaru. "I.. Yeah.. " He tried to force a smile on his face, "let's go back, I am sure you are getting tired here" Anim suggested as he shut the book and started to walk away.

"Wait... " Subaru asked as he walked closer to Anim. Turning his head around, Anim didn't expect himself to be met with a hug.

No one said anything, Subaru just patted his back and let go of him as he looked down at the boy. "Whatever it is... It was will go away.. And dont expect this treatment everytime."

Anim's lips parted as if was going to say something but didn't, just smiled. A natural smile. "Well, you just might.. Since I think we have reached the grounds of being called 'friends'" Anim chuckled as Subaru just huffed.

"Don't forget that I am one of them. I can hurt you." He said firmly. "If you are, then bite me." Anim crosses his arms. Startling backwards.

Anim still had a smile on his face, Subaru sighed in frustration, "quite joking around!" He yelled as Anim just chuckled more. "Ho Subaru.. " Anim spoke inbetween his chuckles. He held His hand and gave it a squeeze. "I trust you, that's why I stay around you."

Subaru's eyes widened as the smaller male left his hand and picked up his bag, "now come on Subaru, we have to go class" Anim stated as he looked back at Subaru.

Meanwhile Subaru stood there like the 'standing guy emoji'. "And the man was too stunned to speak~" Anim commented as he laugh. Subaru felt his ears getting warm as he followed the boy soon after. "You will regret this.."
"Ho I am sureeeee" Anim continued to chuckle as both of them walked to there classes.

Anim was half happy that Subaru wasn't pulling off wired moves like his brothers, though if he thought about it, Shu hasn't done anything to him as well. It's wired how the oldest and the youngest are the most normal onces.

Even if one had anger issues and the other layed at one place like a log.

Both Anim and Subaru chatted away, all the while someone watched them from behind. It was Yui, she watched Them as she noticed the Smile that was spread across Anim's face.

Was Anim happy here? Was she the only one being thrown around while he got the soft treatment. Yui didn't wanted to belive that this is truth. But all this time, Anim hasn't been bitten once. He talked to everyone as if they are his friends. And now, he talks to casually with Subaru.

Was Yui now secondary to him? She hopped she wasn't... She can't loss his only friend here.

In the Ride back home, Yui observed as Anim got along with Shu and Subaru. He occasionally talked to Reiji and Kanato but the bond between the Three was unspoken but clearly visible if someone looked into it.

Shu rested his head on Anim as if this was an everyday thing. Which it wasn't! A few days ago they started to sit together and now suddenly? Subaru calmly sat on the otherside as kept his eyes close. They have been sitting together for a long while.
