Quirrel left early that morning to visit Monomon. He didn't bother telling Tiso where he was going. The ant probably wouldn't care. If anything, he'd be relieved. When he entered the archives Monomon immediately welcomed him. "Quirrel!! Welcome! So, how did your little 'quest' go?" She asked. "Well, it was a success technically but..." He trailed off. "Hm?" Quirrel didn't know how to explain, it was very complicated. It was simple in his head but whenever he tried to actually say it it felt like he was choking. So the pillbug decided to just start from the beginning. In Deepnest. Monomon visibly shuddered at the name when Quirrel spoke it. They both knew how wretched that place was. Oh, how Quirrel wished he had known Tiso hadn't been in Deepnest, how he wished he hadn't gone. He had recovered from the physical injuries he suffered, but he will never rid of the mental scars. Monomon seemed visibly interested in his story, keeping her eyes glued to him, and even asking him to elaborate on some parts of the story. He was so lucky to have such a great listener as a mom.
