Chapter 1

Bills, loan sharks, medical bills, everyday meals, debt, etc. Taehyung was so done with his life. He's the breadwinner of the family but he can't even do anything to help his family survive.

Instead of 3 times of meals in a day, he only experiences once a day and sometimes, he has to sleep on an empty stomach. It's not his worst problem anymore but he can't help but pity his family's situation.

If he didn't give up on his relationship with Jungkook, he should be living in wealth because of Jungkook's status. He already felt the feeling of the top but now he's back to the bottom.

He should be happy having a rich partner but the problem is, their relationship is toxic. He did try to love Jungkook romantically but it ended up failing because of Jungkook's rude behavior and people thought of him as a gold digger.

Also being Jungkook's fiance felt like worshipping him because of money. That's what he had to endure living with Jungkook. Believe it or not, he didn't feel happy having a relationship with him.

You see, Taehyung wished to have a partner in his life but he wants to feel those butterflies in his stomach, a healthy romantic relationship, a caring partner, and can rely on when needed.

But with Jungkook, every time he needs him, Jungkook would just gives him money and thinks that will be a solution for everything. And that makes him tired of their relationship. He's the one who give up and left Jungkook.

He didn't feel any regret doing that, but the only thing he regret was the fact that Jungkook can make his life worse than ever. Like right now, Taehyung should have a proper life after leaving Jungkook. He has a decent job in a company, a house, and a lot that his great-grandmother gave to his mother and a pretty good amount of money in his bank account.

But suddenly, the company where he works fired him without telling him the reason why. The house his parents owned was also sold to someone with that they never agreed of. They tried to solve it in court but they lose because of the corruption.

The money in his bank account was lost after his mother's heart attack and bills for everything, including their water, electricity, medical bills, and rent for the house that cost 50,000 won a month.

Even if he tried to find a job, none of them accepted his application form even in a small business. He ended up borrowing money from a loan shark hoping that it would help his situation but it just make everything worst. When he didn't pay by the due date of the payment, he got beaten up for his lesson and warning. And he knew who caused it.

Tears were falling down his eyes, not knowing what to do. Sitting alone on the street stairs wearing a hood to hide his puffy red swollen face due to his excessive crying. He was wondering how can he solve everything if Jungkook was blocking his way to his success.
