Chapter 25
“I'm sorry, Sir, if our house makes you uncomfortable,” Taehyung shyly apologized as he bowed his head in front of Yoongi, who was sitting on the couch.
“No, it's okay, I'm fine. Please be comfortable in your own house,” Yoongi giggled.
“It's just I'm ashamed, Sir. I'm sure you had a better place than mine, I felt like I was just wasting your time.” Taehyung muttered while biting his bottom lip.
“It's really okay, Taehyung, I didn't mind at all.” Yoongi said. “I was worried about your health, that's it.” he smiled.
“Thank you for your concern, Sir; I appreciate it a lot.” Taehyung kept bowing his head.
“Is there anything else you want, Taehyung? I'm sorry, I was thinking on my way of buying you some medicine but I'm not sure what medicine suits you.” Yoongi changed the topic.
“Oh, please don't mind me that much, Sir. I am doing fine, besides, my Noona was taking care of me.” Taehyung smiled.
“That's good to hear, then; I was expecting to see you next week; do you think you can do that?” Yoongi inquired.
“Yes, Sir, I promise I'll go back to work,” Taehyung genuinely replied.
“I'm glad, why don't we go outside for a while? I'd like to buy a meal for you, and if you want, we can buy for your Noona,” Yoongi suggested.
“But Sir, that sounds too much. I appreciate that you visited me, and please, I don't want to bother you anymore. I know you are a busy man,” Taehyung rejected him.
“It's really fine, Taehyung, I was thinking of leaving anyway. And before that, I would like to buy something for you, so please, don't reject my offer.” Yoongi sounded disappointed.
“Well, uhm, if that's what you want, Sir.” Taehyung just accepted it, rubbing the back of his neck.
“Finally, let's get going, then,” Yoongi stood up and extended his hand to Taehyung.
Taehyung shyly held his hand, and Yoongi started to walk away, with Yoongi being a gentleman to him. Taehyung insisted that they should not buy something expensive, but Yoongi didn't listen and still went to the most expensive restaurant and bought the most expensive food on the menu. He tried to stop Yoongi, but Yoongi said it was nothing, so Taehyung just let him with a sigh.
Yoongi was in the cashier while he was standing behind him and roaming his eyes around because it was obvious that he felt like he didn't belong in this place.
“Jeon Jungkook, the CEO of the biggest company, has been charged with assault and battery after a video of him circulated in a social where he punched the also-known CEO, Min Yoongi. For almost the same reason, a video of him was also posted on social media where he used a gun to threaten a person and even shot his gun; fortunately, no one was harmed during the incident. However, he was charged with General Vice Charges for Public Nuisance and Disorderly Conduct. The police will further investigate him after a rumor spreads that he was allegedly doing illegal stuff.”
Taehyung couldn't believe what he heard and saw through the screen. His heart clenched while watching the news. Seriously, Jeon Jungkook will be put behind bars?
What a relief if that will happen, but it wouldn't surprise him if they would be dropped very soon. He knew Jungkook could handle this kind of situation very well. For now, he hoped the peace for both of them.
