Chapter 32
“Jeon Jungkook took a plea deal against his charges, which only let him do 48 hours of community service and the fines of 10 million ₩. Since there are no severe damages, the judges stated that it wouldn't be necessary to put him in jail.”
“What the fuck? That's just it?” Taniya couldn't believe what she was watching.
“He also filed a case against the complainant, which was defamation. It was now under investigation.”
“What else money can't do?” Taniya shook her head in disappointment.
Jeon Jungkook appeared in court with his attorney, Kim Namjoon. He didn't take any severe punishment, but it cost him the operation of his company, which was still closed as of now.
“I'm leaving, Noona!” Taehyung said while going out of his room.
“Don't wanna eat some breakfast?” Taniya asked, watching him.
“No, gonna be late,” Taehyung then left just like that.
He rushed outside and parked a cab. He told the driver his destination and the driver started to drive away. Once he arrived in front of the company, he paid the driver and left the cab to go inside the company. But before he could even go there, Jungkook was standing outside and seemed to be waiting for someone. Taehyung hoped it was not him.
“Fancy seeing you here, Jeon Jungkook, literally right after your trial,” Yoongi came out with a smug on his face.
“It was you, wasn't it?” Jungkook said with a venomous tone.
“Why don't you try to take a guess? That would be fun, don't you think so?” Yoongi grinned.
“I don't understand what's your purpose but don't even bother to try anymore. I'll let this one slide just because Mom asked me to do so. But trust me, if you do something like this once again, I won't hesitate to take you down,” Jungkook warned him.
“Should I take a restriction order against you? Your threat was horrifying,” Yoongi sneered.
“Know your limits, if you don't want to regret it,” Jungkook retorted.
“Don't you think you should be careful of whatever you're saying to me? You know that person who used to be precious to you. Who knows, I might do something to harm him; you wouldn't want it, right?” Yoongi smirked.
“And now using Taehyung to threaten me, how petty of you. Is that how low you are right now? Even using an innocent person to take such disgusting acts?” Jungkook shot back.
“Wow, as if you didn't do something worse to him. I mean, I haven't done anything to him yet, you know. Are you afraid that I might hurt him?” Yoongi taunted him.
“Trust me, if something happened to him while he was on your side, I wouldn't hesitate to kill you right away.” He then turned around.
Taehyung met his eyes for a second before breaking them off and going inside his car. Those eyes were emotionless and the way his face was stoic was kind of terrifying.
