JIMIN POV

"I don't really want to put
them away."

I held up the quilled ornaments.

"You know, because then it's
like Christmas is really over."

Which it was and everything
was about to change.

The new furnace was officially put in and deemed working to satisfaction.

There was nothing tying us to
the cabin except our desire to hide away from the world and just be in each other's arms.

But New Year's had come and gone, the furnace was fixed and it was time to start our new life.

"We don't have to."

Jungkook came up behind me and wrapped his arms around me, kissing my mating mark.

"We can keep them out and
bring them home, I'm sure we can find someplace perfect to hang them year round...

"possibly even get a shadowbox for them so they don't get dusty."

I turned in his arms and hugged him close. "I love that idea."

"And I love you."

He kissed my lips sweetly.

"Did you think we will ever figure out who sent us the ornament?"

The lawyer in him liked to know all the things.

"It was Santa, of course." I bit his bottom lip.

"Who else would know we
were going to have a baby
before we did?" He chuckled.

"My creative mate."

And maybe I was being silly when I said it but once it fell from my lips, it didn't sound horribly off base.

"That's what I'm telling our
little one every Christmas."

My stomach growled so loudly the neighbor probably heard, and out here that meant a mile or more away.

"Eat." Jungkook was very big
into me eating.

He took the eating for two thing as a serious recommendation and really, there was some truth to it because the more frequently I ate, the less I felt like puking.

Unfortunately it didn't do anything for the exhaustion.

"I'm going."

I smacked a kiss on his lips
and headed off to the kitchen
to grab a cookie.

There were none. "We ate all
the cookies." I whined.

"We?" He stood in the doorway, Snow at his feet. "We?"

"I ate all the cookies."

And I didn't feel sorry.

They were good. Amazingly
good and baby liked them.

"Make me some more?" I stuck out my bottom lip and made
my best puppy dog eye face.

It was at least the third batch
I'd had him make.

At this rate, our baby was
going to be named Cookie.

"If you promise to eat some
thing with protein too."

"I could use some meat."

I let my eyes roll over him and settle on his zipper.

"Just saying."

"I'm not saying no." he pointed out.

"But how about I make you an omelet or a chicken breast or something."
