JIMIN POV

"Baby needs ice cream." I did too.

I was hot and cranky and
hungry and nothing sounded
as good as a scoop of butter pecan ice cream from the little ice cream shop in town.

I set my book down, the one
I hadn't bothered to read an entire chapter of yet, my brain too busy with all the things I needed to do and leaned into Jungkook.

We were nestled on the couch together, which was great but also I had things that needed doing... things that included getting ice cream.

We'd been at the cabin for a
few days.

As my pregnancy got further
and further along, I'd felt a
tug to be at the cabin.

I wasn't sure exactly why.

Maybe it was because that's where we met or possibly because it was sort of a midway point between my new home with my new den and my old home where my parents were,
or maybe it was a need to not have everyone trying to be so helpful all the time.

I got it. I did.

I was the den's Alpha Omega
and they wanted to make this pregnancy the most magical thing in this universe but I was beginning to feel suffocated
and I very much didn't want
to take it out on them.

It was a hundred percent the hormones or at least ninety-five percent hormones.

"Are they open yet?"

It was a fair question, given we were still hours away from lunch.

"I don't know." I took out my phone and looked it up.

They didn't have a website.

"We could go and see."

"How about we get a meal first?"

He was already reaching for his keys on the side table.

I had a keeper.

"Fine, Pizza?" I batted my
lashes at him and he just
shook his head with humor.

"I think our options are diner
or family restaurant." Oh yeah,
right because it was stupid early.

For some reason, I woke up at four am wide awake.

I had the entire kitchen cleaned before it was time to give Snow her medication and the living room ready before Jungkook woke up at seven.

He hadn't been impressed.

"Take it easy." he'd said.

"You're nine months pregnant."

And yeah, I knew all of that but
I also knew that I wanted the cabin clean before I ran out of energy, which led to me doing laundry when he cleaned the bathroom, citing the chemicals weren't good for me.

Once again, he hadn't been impressed. Oh well.

"Diner might have pizza."

I pushed myself to get up and failed.

Did it a second time... failed again.

"Help me up, alpha?"

"Of course." He got up and assisted me.

My belly had officially hit the
is he going to explode stage.

It entered a room the day before I did and it blocked me from seeing my foot and my cock.

Last night, Jungkook had promised me it was not only still there but it was just as fabulous as ever and then he had shown me how true it was.

We headed outside after promising Snow we would be back soon. Snow didn't care.
