Well, it was safe to say that maybe Beta hadn't even been told by Aloy that she was perhaps not working alone on the pulse generators. Nureka saw that as a bit of an oversight on Aloy, especially considering the startled look which was on Beta's face as Nureka came rather excitedly entering her room. The poor redhead had been working on a table that seemed to be around the corner of some of the large servers which were in the room. She had sectioned off a little bit to make a sort of bedroom space, though it was tiny, it clearly was enough for Beta.

Regardless, still having Nureka entering saying a cheery hello to her had her moving quickly from the table and rounding the servers to look at her with rather large green eyes. Nureka just beamed her way and waved, "I'm here to help," Nureka explained, still sounding too cheery, Beta was suspicious and looked it too. Nureka ended up pouting slightly, "Eh...didn't you get told?" It was then that Nureka realised, Beta didn't know.

"I suggested to Aloy that I could do this. She never mentioned anything about getting someone else to help me." Beta explained, her arms instinctively wrapping around herself, her hands running up and down her arms as she shifted awkwardly on the spot.

Nureka raised an eyebrow, well, that seemed like the most Beta had said in a way of conversation starting with her, and she for one was chuffed. Beta just looked even more bemused when Nureka's smile grew. "Well, that's Aloy...sneaky, sneaky Aloy..." Nureka twiddled her fingers in the air and laughed quietly with a shake of her head. "She doesn't want you doing everything on your own, which is double standards, considering what she does all the time. I think she's worried that you'll burn yourself out, Beta. That's all it is. Plus, two of us working away at this will be quicker so..." Nureka said while crossing her arms behind her back and smiling at her hopefully.

"Fine," there was a short sigh from Beta as she turned on her heels and walked off to where she was previously working.

She left Nureka to look triumphant and even from where Beta was, she heard the quiet exclaim of not being kicked out, and a slight clap of the Banuk's hands as she moved further into the room. Brushing her hands over her sleeveless leather jerkin, Nureka put on the air of being absolutely unfazed by this, completely nonchalant as she looked at Beta. Beta however just looked at her with a raised eyebrow and a plain look, Nureka sheepishly smiled, Beta knew what just happened, regardless of not visually seeing it.

"Have you ever made anything like this before?" Beta asked, she, after all, didn't wholly know what abilities Nureka had in the way of making things. Yes, she had made Kotallo's arm with aid from herself, and Gaia, but a pulse generator seemed...she didn't know, like something that wouldn't be around on this planet, that the mechanism of it and how it worked would confuse most. Beta didn't mean it in a rude way, she really didn't, but she didn't understand or know what the planet and its people knew of technology.

Nureka inhaled slowly and taped a finger to her chin, "Aloy's spear, the resonator on it, I have upgraded that and worked on it; the theory isn't too dissimilar."

Beta nodded her head slowly, "Do you like making things?" She sounded awkward, Nureka turned her head and looked at the shy expression on her face. It seemed like Beta was trying to branch out, perhaps the only person she actually asked things about was Aloy, maybe even Varl, he did venture down here to pry her out of her shell too. Other than that, most seemed to leave her alone.

Nureka smiled and nodded, "My people, we live in harsh mountains, an unforgiving land of snow and ice; we need weaponry, items that can help us achieve survival through any means. You adapt up there, or those lands will kill you."

"I don't think I like the sound of that very much. Here seems bad enough." Beta said quietly while sharing the schematics with her through her Focus. Gaia too did aid again, although the AI seemed to not be needed as much as Beta seemingly knew what she was doing.
