The still silence was almost palatable, the atmosphere awkward and heavy just by the taller armour clad warrior being present; it was not an exaggeration, but Regalla had an aura, she was both formidable yet terrifying, something to fear and respect and to definitely not cross and mess with. The dark paint upon her face just made her features more angular, her brown eyes stood out in sharp contrast within the dark greys and white upon her skin but also the light within the room just made them glint. It was like she was looking at them all, assessing them, figuring out which was perhaps the strongest and who would be the most challenging.

There was a quiet sigh from her as her eyes easily coasted over Alva and Zo, it was a bit of an insult to the pair, both although had their mild-manner ways, were equally able to handle themselves in a fight; to Regalla, Zo was probably just viewed as a farmer who was aspiring upon her means, and Alva, if Regalla knew she was a Quen or not was unknown to most in the room, but she disregarded her as soon as her eyes looked her way. It probably didn't help that Alva's own gaze diverted as quickly as their eyes connected. The smallest smirk appeared on Regalla's face then.

She was, after all, walking into this base with her back to the wall. Although insulted that she hadn't been vanquished fully, and Aloy had treated her no better than Hekarro, these people here weren't her friends. They weren't her allies. They were people that she had no choice but to work alongside for the bigger picture of some form of redemption. And Regalla would get her redemption, and her warriors end, she was determined on that, no more owing being alive to people who in her mind, didn't have the right to hold that in their hands.

So, did that mean she cared that at least one person present seemed a little afraid? Not entirely, she wasn't here to make friends, it was better to be feared and stayed clear of. She didn't exactly wish to socialise more than she had to. Shifting her weight from one foot to the other, she rested her spare hand on the pommel of her sword, the lengthy jagged metal had been hanging in its holster on her back, but seems she was here, she was taking it off her back. Of course, the sight of the weapon being moved had most tensing. Regalla rolled her eyes, she wasn't going to waste her time fighting anyone in the room, it wouldn't benefit her at all.

Zo stepped forwards, and Regalla just eyed her up with a blank expression. She seemed rather self-assured for someone who had been beaten and persuaded into fighting a fight which she didn't really have much of a part in, at least not anymore. So whatever right she had to look so down on Zo, it was beyond any of them, really. Some people were just like that, unfortunately; no matter what hardships were dealt to them, they were so confident in themselves, or lost within themselves, that they didn't register that they weren't the be all and end all, they weren't actually the most important person present, or in the world; and that actually, not respecting others and the varied skills they may have, was just incredibly shortsighted, extremely rude yes, but narrowminded and most likely unable to see the long-term benefits of knowing such a group, as the one which was assembled here.

Zo, steadfast and unbelievably, and definitely not nervous by the taller woman's behaviour still approached calmly. They all knew Regalla was coming, and from snippets of what Kotallo had shared with them, she was someone to respect, but respect went both ways. No one was surprised she came waltzing in like she owned the base, but the disparaging looks sent their ways was just expected, sure, but also not a brilliant way to start things.

Aloy had made it clear, when briefly telling those present Regalla was coming, that through all the bravado the Tenakth had, it wasn't just bluster, she could back up that bravado but also to not take it. None of them had to take her shit, it was blunt to say Regalla was here as a tool, but even she recognised that. She didn't have a leg to stand on really when it came to ego, at least not anymore, credit for her continuing on though, that was definitely credit where it was due.
