Just a few more battles left, the names began to roll on the screen :Hinata vs Neji
I heard Hinata call him her brother while there we're preparing for battle.
"Wait, brother?" Sakura questioned.
Kakashi explained, "They are both from the Hyuga clan, one of the most honorable families in the hidden leaf. They're not actually siblings."
"That must be hard for them to go up against each other when they are related..."
"They're about the start." Kakashi pointed out.

"Hinata, forfeit this match... you are not meant to be a ninja... you're too nice. You only chose to participate in these exams because Shino and Kiba wanted to, is that correct?"
"No! I wanted to see if I could change.."
She's so quiet.
"People can't change no matter how hard they try."
"No! That's not true-" I started to yell out when Kakashi grabbed my elbow turning my attention to him.
"This isn't your fight Makota..." His eye staring straight into mine.
"Still..." I whispered "I believe she can..." I looked back to the two Hyugas.
Fear lay on Hinata's face as Neji continued his speech, creating a hand sign he activated his Byakugan.

He scanned her movements telling her every reason why she would lose, how she was to shy and weak to continue.
"That does it!" Naruto shouted.
His hands gripped tightly to the railing,
"Who gave you the right to tell her what she can and can't? Go on Hinata! Show him what you can do!"
I looked back at Kakashi.
"Why didn't you stop him, huh?" I pulled my arm away from his grasp and made my way over to Sakura's side, I could feel his gaze burning into my back but kept my attention on Hinata.

Her face seemed to change from fear to confidence, she began a series of hand signs activating her own Byakugan. They both now in a fighting stance, a taijutsu of their own form, the battle has begun. Both their palms flat, attacking hand on hand, going after each others chakra network.
"The chakra network isn't visible to the eye, so how do they know where to hit?" Sakura asked
"The Byakugan, remember?" I replied.
"The gentle fist attack they use is different from a regular attack, they release their own chakra from a chakra opening and drills it into their opponent's chakra network, damaging it." Kakashi added.

Both Hyuga's attacks stopped as they stood directly infront of each other.
"Did she get him?" Someone asked.
We watched as no one moved, quite filled the room as we heard Hinata gasp and blood spat from her mouth. She tried another attack but he counteracted it with his own, he knocked her back, slamming to the ground, she was out of breath. He began on again with his speech telling her to forfeit.
"I....I never go back... because that too is my ninja way!" Blood dripped from her mouth.
She stood facing Neji preparing to continue the fight. Those were just like Naruto's words.

She charged at Neji, both attacking each other as before. She went in to hit but he grabbed her arm pulling her forward hitting her straight under the chin flying her backwards. She choked out muffles until she regained control, she ran towards Neji. Hinata went to hit as did he but only one made contact, Hinata spit up more blood and fell to the floor.

"You're finished." Neji began walking away.
She stood to her feet, heavily breathing and shaking. How can she continue? She looks like she's reached her limit! She stumbled closer to Neji, he raced towards her ready to destroy. In a blink of an eye, Guy sensei was behind Neji holding him back, Kakashi sensei held his arm as two more sensei also kept him from Hinata.
"The match is already over!" The sensei continued, "Neji Hyuga is the winner."

Hinata fell over in defeat a majority of us leaped to the bottom floor to her side as her last words to Naruto...well more like a question, asking him if she had changed.... Her sensei ran to her side calling the medics to come and take her to the infirmary.
"Hey loser! Once a failure always a failure." Neji called to Naruto.
Naruto growled wanting to take him on right now, but Lee stopped him, telling him he would get the chance but now was not the time. Naruto walked over to where she had spit up blood, he ran his fingers though the liquid, closing his hand in a fist, he lifted it at Neji making a promise that he wouldn't lose to him.
