The breaking of team 7

We have been on many missions since the Chuin exams took place... or should I say when Orochimaru attacked the leaf village. One of our last missions that we had faced ended Sasuke in the infirmary, Sakura and I checked on him and brought flowers... but I could tell something was really bothering him. I decided I'd come back alone and see if he wanted to talk about it.

I tried my best to be the sneakiest I could to not catch the attention of a certain pink haired Kunoichi. Once I got to Sasuke's room I knocked and waited to hear him call. No sounds came, which made me a bit nervous. Did he run for it, again? I opened the door and saw him laying in bed.

"I thought you left." I giggled, rubbing the back of my neck.
"I wish." He mumbled.
"You look like something has been bothering you since our last mission. If you wanna talk I'm here...anytime."
"What have you done to reach your goal Makota? Nothing... just like me! Naruto just seems to keep....." he growled, "he keeps getting stronger and saving everyone! While I keep getting knocked down!"
"We are all getting stronger Sasuke.." I reached for his hand but he smacked it away.
"I'm still to weak! And so are you!" He yelled.
My eyes grew wide by his sudden outburst.
"Sa...Sasuke..." tears threatened my eyes.

The door burst open suddenly, Naruto and Sakura came walking in. I kept my gaze to the floor.
"We brought some snacks Sasuke!" Sakura sang.
"Naruto!" Sasuke hissed "I want you to fight me....right now."
I snapped my head towards Sasuke... what's gotten into him... why is he being this way?
Sakura's mouth fell open and Naruto of course was confused....we all were.

"We're in a hospital! You just got healed, what are you talking about?" Naruto asked confused.
"Shut up and fight!" Sasuke yelled, activating his Sharingan. "You did say you wanted to fight me, well nows your chance." He smirked. "Unless you've chickened out."
Naruto growled, "let's go then!"
"Follow me." He demanded.
He left the room as Naruto followed, Sakura looked at me with worry and fear in her eyes.
"Hurry, let's go Sakura." I grabbed her hand and dragged her after them.

We headed up towards the roof of the hospital, they stood face to face. Sakura and I watched as they fought with their words, this is awful.... We're a team! This isn't right! They ran at each other throwing punches and kicks. I grabbed Sakura's arm..
"We have to do something!" I said frantically.
"What do we do?" She asked.

We looked back at the fight between our teammates to see Sasuke knocking Naruto's shadow clones out with his fire ball jutsu. When the fire was gone Naruto had a ball of chakra in his hands, Sasuke made his hand signs for his Chidori, they both dashed towards each other.
"Both of you stop fighting!" Sakura begged, she ran out of my grasp towards the two boys.

"No Sakura!" I yelled, she's going to get herself killed!
"Stop it!" She screamed.
Naruto and Sasuke were getting closer to hitting their jutsu together, they couldn't stop... they're going to kill each other and Sakura will be in the middle of it! What do I do?!

I shut my eyes tightly together, I heard two loud crashes... but not the sound I was expecting... I slowly opened one eye to see Kakashi standing there. I looked behind me, Naruto and Sasuke crashed into the water tanks. Kakashi jumped up to them and began his lecture, I ran over to Sakura and grabbed her shoulders.

"What do you think you were doing?!"
She held her hands to her chest, sadness filled her eyes.
"I couldn't take it...I wanted them to stop." She whimpered.
"So did I...but you almost got yourself killed.... I honestly thought I was about to be the last person on team 7.... I can't lose everyone I love...not again!" Tears threatened my eyes, I let my words fall freely from my mouth. She looked at me with wide teary eyes.
"I'm sorry!" She yelled wrapping her arms around me, sobbing into my shoulder.
"It's alright...I'm glad Kakashi sensei showed up on time....for once..."
