Rest now Hokage

Standing at the third Hokage's head stone, everyone is gathered around dressed in black. Am I crying? I reached up to touch below my eyes... no... it's just raining.... I look over towards Sakura... remembering everything that they explained to me. What happened with the Hokage's battle and the battle between Gaara and Naruto... and I wasn't there to help...

Sasuke explained to me his battle after he caught up to Temari, Kankuro, and Gaara. Kankuro took Gaara and ran, while he battled Temari. He tricked her with a substitution jutsu and a paper bomb, leaving her down and unable to fight. Sasuke caught up with Kankuo and Gaara, Temari showing up soon after. This time Temari took Gaara and left, leaving Kankuro to battle with Sasuke. Shino showed up, apparently placing a tracking bug on him, Shino wanted to fight Kankuro since they didn't have their battle from before.

Sasuke caught back up with them, he saw one side of Gaara's face beginning to crack, he screamed in agony, one side of him was transforming into the arm we had seen before coming out of that ball of sand. Half of him was Gaara, the other half was now what seemed to be the one tailed beast, like Naruto, he was a jinchuriki. He was coming after Sasuke for the kill. Sasuke's lightning jutsu was the only thing he could use to fight Gaara, that would actually cause damage. But he was only able to use it twice before he would run out of chakra, unless he used the curse mark from Orochimaru. Which caused him to be unable to move like before.

Gaara was about to attack the unmovable Sasuke when Naruto appeared and kicked Gaara away. Sakura and Pakkun attended to Sasuke.
The curse mark was taking over again. Gaara lunged at Sasuke, Sakura jumped infront of him with her kunai, Gaara's transformed arm grabbed her and slammed her into a nearby tree holding her there, knocked out. He was crushing her as the sand hardened. Naruto faced off with Gaara, trying his best to take him on. Trying to fight for his friends, to save them.

Fighting for your friends, saving them from harm no matter what, that's true power...something Gaara was far from understanding...he began transforming again, this time his entire body was the form of the one tailed beast... he believed having friends, having people you care about was a weakness. But Naruto would save his friends even if it killed him.

If you never fight for anyone but yourself, you will never be strong, no matter what you do.
Naruto released a mass amount of chakra, thousands of clones appeared! All of them attacking Gaara simultaneously... just when he thought he had won, Gaara transformed completely into the one tailed beast.

Naruto jumped in the conversation and explained further on his battle.
Sand began to consume Naruto, he thought about his comrades, he began making hand signs and summoned the chief frog. Apparently something he learned with Jiraiya. The one tailed beast and the chief frog began to battle, to defeat the tailed beast the chief frog had him try and wake Gaara, when Gaara used the 'play possum jutsu' it caused him to fall asleep releasing the sand beast. Waking Gaara up would undo this. The chief frog had Naruto use a combined transformation jutsu, together they transformed into the Nine tailed fox... he dug his claws into the sand beast. Naruto jumped at Gaara and punched him, releasing the jutsu. But that didn't stop Gaara from continuing the battle. 

To completely stop Gaara from continuing, Naruto borrowed chakra from the nine tails, he lunged at Gaara and head butted him so hard blood spilled from both heads. The sand beast crumbled, they both fell to the ground. Naruto inched towards Gaara, talking to him about how he knows what it feels like to be alone. How they are the same, that he will never give up, because his friends accept him.... Love him... and he would die to protect them... to protect us. Kankuro and Temari jumped infront of Gaara picking him up and running off, ending the battle.

Kakashi explained the battle back at the arena.
Orochimaru trapped the Hokage and himself in a prison dome, the one I saw before I left with my group. He then used a reanimation jutsu to bring back the first and second Hokage to battle against the third. The first Hokage uses a wood style jutsu. Creating a forest... no one could see inside the barrier anymore...
Kakashi, Guy and other leaf shinobi continued battling the sand ninjas. After a while they had defeated the sand ninjas. The barrier that trapped the Hokage and Orochimaru went away. Leaf shinobi went up to where the battle between the third Hokage and Orochimaru were, seeing the third Hokage had given his life to save his village, and that Orochimaru had fled.

Staring at the photo of lord third, I placed a white flower down with the other flowers that were placed by the other shinobi and teams.
It finally stopped raining... I met back up with team 7, we set off together to begin a new journey... even if it may be difficult, the Hokage died to protect us all... it's our job to carry on his dream... to help restore the village and protect the people!

'Where the tree leaves dance, one shall find flames. The fire's shadow will illuminate the village. And once again, tree leaves shall bud anew.'- the third Hokage
