Chapter 10,
I Feel So Sick
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~" Drinking was a bad idea, but going to that party was a horrendous idea. I don't regret though, just another fun story to tell when I'm older. "
~ Deb's POV ~
The party was a blast, or so I was told, one moment I was dancing around with Aurora, while we sang to many different songs and then the next, I was drinking everything in sight. Not literally, but I was drinking more than what I had planned. Ophelia was not impressed, nor fazed.
Everything from yesterday was fuzzy, it was as if I had amnesia. I was currently waking up from my bed, with a migraine that feels like the size of Texas, but the nausea feeling was ten times bigger. I ran out of my bedroom, heading straight to the bathroom.
I didn't bother turning the lights on, as it would only make me feel worse, and I don't like seeing vomit. I didn't have time to shut the door before I was hunched over the toilet, spewing all of the things from the other night.
Tears stung my eyes as I gagged, I wanted to make a joke about the situation but I couldn't. So many drinks that I shouldn't have picked up and drank.
"You're okay.."
A voice cooed, I already knew it was Ophelia because who the hell would be comforting me as I threw up everything inside of me.
Once I was finally done, I flushed the toilet and got up from my knees. I was drained completely, the migraine that was pounding my head didn't make it any better, I brushed my teeth and washed my face.
"I took out some medicine and water for you, eat a yogurt and then take it."
Ophelia informed me as she walked out of the bathroom, I nodded my head before walking out of the bathroom right behind her.
I have never been more happy to know that I have a best friend who doesn't care if I get drunk, sick, angry, or anything. I walked to the kitchen and opened the fridge to grab a yogurt, I didn't mind yogurt but that didn't mean I wanted to eat it for breakfast.
"Drink tons of water during the day, you're most likely dehydrated from everything you left in the bathroom."
Ophelia shouted as she walked to her room, one thing at a time Ophelia, one thing at a time.
Once I finished with my yogurt, I walked to the dining table and grabbed the pill before opening the water bottle. The pill felt like it was slowly going down my throat which I hate the most, I drank half the water bottle.
"I told you not to go to the party, it was such a bad idea, I regret going and I bet you do too."
Ophelia sighed as she walked out of her room, I looked at her and nodded my head slightly before disagreeing with her last sentence.
" Drinking was a bad idea, but going to that party was a horrendous idea. I don't regret though, just another fun story to tell when I'm older. "
I beamed, sometimes bad ideas will give you the best stories to tell and will give you the best laughs.
Ophelia only shook her head before cracking a smile, she walked over to me and wrapped her arms around me. I got a little shocked for the reason that she shows some affection but not all the time, she hates physical touch.
I'm guessing college really is a place where you can find yourself and discover new things, at your own pace of course. There's barely any judgement and you're bound to find someone similar to you.
"I feel so sick that it's tiring."
I mumbled as we walked to the couch and sat down, we always had pillows and blankets covering the couch just in case we were tired and wanted to nap.
Ophelia nodded her head and grabbed a fluffy purple blanket, draping it over me before grabbing the TV remote to put on some Disney+. I laid my head down on the pillow and yawned as we put on 'Ratatouille'.
As my eyes shut, I felt a certain bliss, I have what most people need but not all deserve. I have a best friend who feels like my sister and that's something that I pride myself in, forever and always.
