XVIII. Oh You Suck

   Chapter 18,
     Oh You Suck

" Every time you point out the dangers of my plans, it only makes me want to do it even more. You live once, maybe you should start risking it all every once and a while, it won't kill you. "

~ Deb's POV ~

  I didn't understand why my friends always hated my plans, I understand that I don't think things through and I'm always prepared for the worst but at least try my ideas out. Winslow is usually the first to tell me that there are a bunch of flaws in my plans, he keeps us safe but he takes out the fun. I'll thank him in the future, when I dodge the bullet someone probably shoots at me.

   "I think we should sneak out in the middle of the night, like, wouldn't that be so fun?"

   I asked as my friend group and I walked to the cafeteria, I wanted some chicken tenders with some fries along with soda. I was just craving food.

   "Uhm, how about we don't do that and we get to stay in school?"

  Ophelia responded as she grabbed a cup and filled it up with some Iced Tea, I looked at her and rolled my eyes. It's not like we are skipping classes to skinny dip in the nearby pool, although that isn't a bad idea.

   "Oh my Lord, it's not like we are going to get killed for having some fun, live a little, maybe?"

   Aurora spoke before I could, I smiled in agreement even though some fun can kill you, but she was on my side. Winslow led us to an empty table, which was in the far corner.

   "To be fair, we can go on a weekend and try to spend the whole night out of our dorms."

   I added as I set my tray down and took a seat beside Ophelia, Aurora nodded her head as she took a sip from her lemonade.

   "Yeah, then we can all go get kidnapped or even kicked out of school while we're at it!"

   Winslow clapped his hands together, with a fake smile on his lips.

   " Every time you point out the dangers of my plans, it only makes me want to do it even more. You live once, maybe you should start risking it all every once and a while, it won't kill you. "

  I found myself sounding almost exactly like Aurora from like two minutes ago, but she wasn't completely wrong about living a little. School drags on forever and it drains you from every bit of fun you have in your body, why would it hurt to take it back?

   Taking a bit from my chicken tender, Winslow decided to inform us how dangerous it would be if we left school grounds to do this little hang out til the sun rise, Ophelia agreed with him. College is meant for you to have new experiences with new people, anyways.

   "Well not all of us wants to spend our time locked in our bedroom, studying for upcoming midterms."

   I retorted as I took a fry and bit into it, even though it seems like I hate it when my friends won't come on board with my idea, it doesn't affect me. I know that there are some outcomes my plans will have and I don't want to risk it if it'll be bad, so I just stop pressing about it.

   "Speaking of studying, that's something you should be doing Deb, wouldn't want you to forget about any upcoming tests."

   Winslow smirked, I looked at him before rolling my eyes jokingly, throwing a piece of my fry at him.

   "You totally suck, I'm not going to forget about any more tests, that's a promise."

   I shoved more fries into my mouth after that sentence, i couldn't keep that promise even if it meant that it would save my life, studying is boring. Luckily though, I'm not failing my classes, so I'm allowed to actually complain without having someone tell me about my grades.

   I seriously cannot wait until I have a break from school and studying, I need to get my sleep schedule in check before I continue any longer.
