Chapter 19,
Partners In Crime
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~" You can always count me in when it comes to revenge, I love getting vengeance for myself or for my friends. Some people deserve karma, and some people need to become karma. "
~ Deb's POV ~
Jamming to Chase Atlantic while cleaning your dorm is the best, but now jamming to Chase Atlantic while cleaning your dorm at night is legit the aesthetic life you want. I thought that the dorm was looking a little messy and needed to clean it up, Ophelia was only making it more messy as the day goes on.
So i was making mop water while 'Friends' played in my ears, I had headphones on since my music should only be played for my ears unless my friends want to listen, music is a personal space kind of thing. Ophelia was in her room, probably finishing up some homework she was given earlier this morning.
It was the weekend, which meant that I could go to sleep late and wake up even later. Although this isn't the type of break I need, I needed a longer one, I'll take it without any complaints. Being away from work and classmates is all that I really want and need.
"I cannot believe this!"
A shout came from Ophelia's room, either she found a typo in her homework or something happened involving Marsha and she was about to get her lick back, either way she was going to tell me.
Just as expected, the bedroom door swung open and Ophelia stomped her way over to me in the kitchen as I finished doing the dishes, I paused my music. I turned the water off and dried my hands on the towel hanging on the fridge.
"What's going on?"
I asked as we walked out of the kitchen, I needed to dust the place but that didn't mean I wasn't going to be paying attention to my best friend. She'd kick me in the kneecaps if I didn't pay attention to her anyways, learned that the hard way. Always listen to your friends.
"Marsha sent me this nasty note, talking about how she's top of her classes and I'm not. Could you actually believe her, has she lost her mind?"
Ophelia spilled, I looked at her and sighed knowing it wasn't going to be steaming hot drama, but this was enough to think of a good come back.
"Are you going to let her get away with that or are you actually going to go do something about it? If you stay silent now, you're telling her she's won."
I explained as I grabbed the feather duster from the linen closet and began to dust the cabinets, Ophelia stood still for a moment, contemplating. I wasn't trying to enable her to get revenge, but she doesn't need to stay silent if she doesn't want to. She's allowed to want to defend herself and talk back to Marsha.
"I'm going to do something about it, and you're going to help me. That is, if you're on board with what I have in mind?"
Ophelia suddenly asked, I looked at her with a slight smirk.
" You can always count me in when it comes to revenge, I love getting vengeance for myself or for my friends. Some people deserve karma, and some people need to become karma. "
Ophelia nodded her head in agreement and grabbed my forearm, dragging me to her room as she whispered her plan to me. We were going to grab silly string and cover Marsha's door with it, it wasn't a hardcore revenge plan but it was revenge plan.
After changing our clothes, I grabbed my car keys and walked out of the dorm with Ophelia following behind. We needed to go to party city or a corner store to buy some silly string, I thought that this plan needed something a little more, more.
So once we arrived to party city, we bought our silly string. I decided to stop buy a corner store anyways, and buy some shaving cream to spell something on the wall beside her door.
"I didn't think you would want to get revenge with me, this is quite a boring plan anyways."
Ophelia broke the silence as we drove back to campus, I looked at her and shrugged my shoulders before glancing over at her.
"I'm your partner in crime and you're mine, I'll never leave you hanging."
Ophelia smiled at me and looked out the window, I was definitely going to take photos of this revenge plan anyways. Something for the scrap book.
