Cheryl watched eagerly as Pepperoni continued his training. The little dog was perfect for the position of leader. He wouldn't be as important as the holy pizza, but that was basically impossible. Cheryl's ogling was interrupted by the sight of a young man, he was running gracefully along the parks sidewalk. His eyes met hers, he probably didn't recognize her, since she was wearing her robe, as were the rest of The Order of the Slice members. But she recognized him. He was one the pizza makers at the place where Cheryl worked. He always had a weird anxious look on his face, and he walked to work by choice. Sausage snapped her bony fingers in front of Cheryl's face, forcing Cheryl to tear her gaze away from the runner.

"What?" She growled. Sausage pointed to Pepperoni.

"You should be paying attention," She hissed. "This is a once in a lifetime opportunity."

Cheryl nodded and went back to watching Pepperoni, Sausage may have been a jerk, but she was right. A blood curdling screech pierced the air. Cheryl was knocked over before she could see what happened, she fell on a patch of mud. She heard screaming and shouting, Cheryl tried to force herself up, but she kept getting pushed by panicked Order of the Slice members. She blew her hair out of her face and stood up. Horror flooded her. The image before her made wretch, tears threatened to fall. The holy pizza was smashed.
