Luigi tried not to panic as The Knights led him to their king's chambers, better known as the old principles office.

"W-what's happening?" Luigi asked. Were they going to kill him? Torture him? Make him cook them burgers for all eternity? He started to feel lightheaded thinking of all his possible punishments. They opened the door to the office and shoved him inside. He just stood there for a moment, confused and afraid.

"Do you know what we do to traitors?" A voice asked. Luigi eyes widened when he saw the man who had spoken. He was sitting in a chair behind his desk, he had a burger pin his robe and a Burger King crown on his head. "We kill them." Luigi's breathe quickened. "But," The man continued. "You are an amazing chef. We can't let you're talent go to waste." Luigi blinked at him. "So I'm going to tell everyone I killed you, then you will take a new name and become our chef." Luigi just stared at him.

"Wait-seriously?" The man raised an eyebrow.

"I am the King of the Burger Knights. Do you think I would make jokes?" Luigi shrugged. The door opened and the Burger Knight who caught him walked into the room. "Luigi your name is now Steven and you're hair is now pink." The King tossed him a bottle of pink hair dye. Luigi wanted to ask him why he had the dye, but he held his tongue. The Kings gaze shifted to the Knight. "Jeffery You will guard Steven, if you tell anyone I will have you killed, got it?" Jeffery nodded hastily. The King smiled. "Good, now tell the other Knights to leave." Jeffery moved swiftly out the door. The King turned back to Luigi. "I would get to dyeing that hair if I were you." Luigi nodded and ran out the door to the restroom, Jeffery at his heels.

Once Luigi was done dying his hair he went to the kitchen.

"Do you have the right ingredients?" Luigi asked Jeffery, who was scowling.

"Do not speak to me," He growled.

"Oh-uh-sorry." Luigi sighed. How was he going to get out of this? He didn't want to make burgers forever. He didn't even like burgers that much. They arrived in the cafeteria, which was full of Knights, they appeared to be waiting for food. Luigi swallowed down his fear and got to work in the kitchen. He made burger after burger, just like when he was practicing for the Tomato Trials. He put them on a plate and served them to the Knights, who gobbled them down. When he was finished he turned to Jeffery. "Uh-what now?" Jeffery glared at him.

"First, I said you could not speak to me." Jeffery said. "Second, you and I will go to your house, and then come back to the school tomorrow." Luigi nodded.

"O-okay." Luigi followed Jeffery out of the school. They walked in silence on the way to Luigi's apartment. When they got there, Luigi warily unlocked his door. He entered the apartment and Jeffery followed him in. Part of Luigi had hoped Cheryl would be there waiting for him, But his apartment was empty. Did she think he was dead? Maybe she didn't care. Luigi shook is his head. He needed to focus on getting out of this. Then an idea struck him. "I-uh have to go to the bathroom," Luigi stammered.

"Don't take too long," Jeffery grumbled. Luigi swiftly walked to the bathroom. Luigi closed the door, locked it and opened the window. He tried not to look down as climbed out the window and onto the side of his building. Now what? Luigi looked around frantically. He had to find a way out of this. He thought of his cell phone. It was in his pocket. He could call someone. He dialed Thomas's phone number. Luigi waited anxiously.

"Hello?" He heard a voice say. Relief coursed through him.

"T-Thomas! I-It's me, Luigi, I need your help!" Thomas was silent for a moment.

"Will you tell me what's been going on?"

"Thomas! Th-this is serious!"

"How serious?"

"A lot of people think I'm dead, my hair is pink and I'm stuck on the side of my building." Luigi heard a clatter from the phone. "T-Thomas?"

"Sorry I dropped the phone," Thomas said. "You're stuck?"

"On the side of my building, yes."

"Well, I'm coming over. I'll bring a ladder so we can get you off."

"O-okay, bring a long one! And don't tell anyone else!" Thomas hung up on him. Luigi was certain Thomas knew where he lived. Luigi heard a knock on the bathroom door.

"Steven?"

Luigi panicked. Jeffery. "Uh-I'm still going!" He yelled.

"Still?" Jeffery's voice dripped with disgust.

"Uh-yeah!" Luigi yelled back. He tried to stop himself from panicking. If Jeffery found a way to through the door, he would kill him. Why did he do this? Why did he think this was a good idea? Luigi quickly took a deep breath and calmed down. He just had to wait for Thomas.

Hope flooded through Luigi when he spotted Thomas. He waved to try to get his attention. Finally Thomas spotted him and rushed over.

"Luigi!" Thomas called. "What's going on?" Luigi put a finger over his lips.

"Shh! Jeffery will hear you!" Confusion flashed across Thomas's face.

"Who's Jeffery?"

"Can I explain after I'm off the side of this building?" Thomas nodded and got out a long ladder.

"Do you think it'll be long enough?" Thomas yelled.

"It should be fine!" The ladder unfurled and Luigi nervously began to climb down. He grabbed hold of the first rung and hauled himself down. Once he reached the ground he felt a burst of relief.

"So are going to tell me what's happening?" Thomas asked.

"Yes."
