Luigi woke up before dawn. It was almost time. He tried to leave his room quietly. Nancy was already awake. She glanced at him. He saw a flicker of an annoyed expression before she fixed her face into a smile.

"You're up early," She said. Luigi cleared his throat. He had a feeling Nancy didn't like him very much.

"I-uh-I'm sorry." He said.

"Don't be sorry!" Nancy said through what was definitely a fake smile. "Nothing wrong with waking up early!" She said cheerfully. Luigi nodded.

"I'm going to get some breakfast." He walked to the kitchen. He opened the fridge and pulled out a carton of milk. His mind was racing. What if they failed? What if they were too late? Luigi grabbed the milk and walked back to his room. He heard Nancy sigh as he closed the door. He took a big sip of milk before placing it on the floor for later. Then he tried to go back to sleep, but he couldn't. All he could think about was Thomas. He had risked his life for Luigi. If he failed, Thomas would die. The thought terrified him. He couldn't let Thomas die. He knew he couldn't live with himself if he let Thomas die. Luigi sat up in his bed. It was clear he wasn't going to get any sleep. He looked at the desk, it was flooded with papers. He definitely didn't need to plan anything. Maybe he could go over them again though. He sat down at the desk and began to go over the information. It was hard to keep track of all the things he had learned. He sighed. He went to the bookshelf in the guest room. There were a surprising amount of horror stories. Luigi didn't know if they were Gertie's or Nancy's. Most of them were by Stephen King. Luigi heard a low growl. It took him a moment to realize the noise came from his stomach. Luigi sighed. He should've gotten some food earlier. Now he was going to have to annoy Nancy again. He walked out of his room. Nancy was still sitting on the couch. She looked at Luigi and smiled.

"Did you forget something?" Nancy asked. Luigi coughed awkwardly.

"Uh-food." He said. He walked to the kitchen to make himself some breakfast. He decided to make some food for Cheryl too. By the time he was done both Gertie and Cheryl were awake. Cheryl rubbed her eyes.

"You're making breakfast?" She asked. Luigi nodded and put her plate on the table.

"I know you-uh-only eat pizza so I made you some." Luigi said. Cheryl bit into the pizza. Tears started welling up in her eyes. "A-are you okay?" Luigi asked frantically. Did he do something wrong?

"It's amazing," Cheryl said softly. She wiped her tears away. Gertie let out a shrill laugh. Then nodded.

"It is amazing, you should be a chef."

Luigi smiled. "I actually was a chef," He said. But that was before. Everyone probably thought he was dead. He hadn't shown up to work in days. Cheryl looked at him and smiled.

"Are you going to eat with us?" She asked. Luigi nodded and took a seat. When he was done with breakfast, he got up and put on his pizza chain. Well it wasn't his pizza chain, it belonged to someone named Ham/Tony. Luigi felt a bit bad for Tony, but Tony kind of deserved it for wanting to tie Thomas to a pizza rocket. Luigi felt a sudden surge of sorrow at the reminder of Thomas. He was stuck in a weird pizza prison. He was going to be attached to a weird pizza rocket. No. Luigi thought. They would save him. They had to. Luigi turned to Cheryl.

"Are we ready?" He asked. Cheryl nodded and stood up from her chair.

"Let's go save Thomas!"

Luigi, Gertie and Cheryl walked down to The Oven. Luigi was trying his hardest not to faint. If anyone took a closer look at Luigi he was done. Gertie barely had a problem. She did actually look like a pizza obsessed lunatic. Luigi didn't know if that was a good thing or bad thing. They were greeted by two guards when they approached The Oven.
