It was break time, and Alexander and Dragon Lady had just gotten their food when Sarah flew over and began to talk to them.

"Hey Alexander, Alexander's friend." She said.

"I'm his girlfriend." Dragon Lady corrected. "Please, call me Dragon Lady, it's nice to meet you, Sarah."

"Oh, who told you my name, are you new here?" Sarah asked.

"Yes, I am a new student, Alexander filled me in on all I need to know about this school." What she had said wasn't fully the truth, but it wasn't really a lie either.

"So did you need something?" Alexander asked.

"Oh, Joel said he wanted to talk to you two. May I ask how you know each other?"

"We're uh, old friends." Alexander quickly responded, again not necessarily a lie.

"How do you two know each other?" Dragon Lady rudely asked.

"We're both third years." Sarah responded. "The only third years not out working as sidekicks. I'm also his girlfriend. Now follow me, I'll take you to him, and don't worry about being late to your next class." They followed Sarah out the school and into the dorm house. Following her to the music room, they found Joel in there, playing the keyboard. "Wait, Alexander." Sarah said. "May I speak with you in private for a second?"

"Huh sure." Alexander responded. "DL, go on ahead." Dragon Lady shut the door behind them, giving Sarah and Alexander privacy.

"Has something happened with my father? He looked happy earlier, but it quickly faded once he started talking about you first years."

"Wish I could answer." Alexander shrugged, even though he did know the answer, and that he was the reason. "That's just something you'll have to take up with him I suppose."

"Okay." Sarah sighed before flying off. Alexander opened the door.

"Hey Davie." He said. "Thanks for helping cook this morning, even if you couldn't help for long."

"Don't mention it." Joel replied. He wore a hat that bathed his head and shoulders in Shadow, only his eyes were peering out. He was slouching to one side, as his right shoulder was still slightly injured. "I see you met Sarah."

"So why'd ya bring us here?"

"Can't friends just talk?" Joel joked. "I did want to just speak with you, but I guess there is something on my mind. Do you think we should tell Sarah? She is my girlfriend after all. She kinda started all this in a way. Lying to her is killing me."

"Yes." Dragon Lady said without a shred of hesitation.

"Depends." Alexander responded. "Do you think she'll keep our secret?"

"I know she can." Joel responded." "If you trust her, then let's do it." And so, Joel called Sarah back in, and they told her everything.

"o-okay." Sarah muttered. "The happier you are, the happier I am. But don't ever go behind my back again." Joel breathed a sigh of relief, and Sarah kissed his cheek before she flew off.
