Mr. Anderson shot up in bed with a start. He had a feeling, or perhaps a premonition, that something awful was about to happen to someone. This wasn't the first time he'd awoken in the night with a feeling that something terrible would soon happen, although this had been the first time in years. He walked out of his room to see a dark figure standing in front of the door to the room in front of him. The figure had dark, messy hair that somehow enveloped all of the figure's facial features, all except for the eyes. It was Joel, the occupant of the room he was standing in front of.

"Couldn'tsleep either?" Mr. Anderson said to him.

"No!" Joel replied in a worried tone. "Theshadows tell me that my one of friends is gonna be hurt soon." Mr. Andersonwanted to ask Joel if the so-called shadows tell him that often, as Joel keptthe full extent of his power a secret, but Joel started to run down the stairswhile motioning Mr. Anderson to follow. They headed down the stairs, out the back exit of the school building and into the back exit of the dorm building. Joel was running franticly through thehalls. As he was following him, Mr. Anderson noticed a door open, and Hazelwalk out.

"M-Mr. Andy?" She asked, blinking several times. "Is something happening?"

"No." Mr. Anderson responded, kneeling down to speak with her. "We're justchecking in on a student."

"Is it that pretty new girl?" Hazel asked.

Butbefore Mr. Anderson could answer, he heard Joel yell from Dragon Lady's room "Getin here, you need to see this." Mr. Anderson looked Hazel in her eyes.

"I needyou to stand over there." He said. "And don't let students get by, can you dothat? Good." He rushed off before Hazel could respond. Joel was standing in thedoorway to Dragon Lady's room. Looking in, Mr. Anderson saw that the window hadbeen broken open, there was glass covering the floor, and most importantly ofall, Dragon Lady was missing.

"s-she's gone!" Joel said.

Mr. Anderson heardHazel yell "No you mean boy, I said you can't go there, no!" Before seeing Alexanderrushing towards him. Mr. Anderson made no effort to stop him from seeing thescene. Upon seeing it, Alexander dropped to his knees as tears began to flowdown his face.

"Who could have done such a thing?" Mr. Anderson asked Joel.

"The same guy who was behind the first attack." Joel responded. "Desmond."
