Yin and Joy were alone in the Nursing station, and Yin was professing the truth that she had learned. However, she neglected to close the door fully, and she was overheard.

"Is all this true?" Yin heard a voice behind her say. Yin spun around to see Alice, the shy second year, standing in the doorway.

"Ah-Ah-Alice, what are you doing here?" Yin said."

"I'm basically the nurse." Alice responded. "Since the real one keeps disappearing for reasons she won't elaborate on." She gave a quiet pout before sitting down in a chair across from Yin. "So, are you really empathy?"

"What are you talking about?" Yin said. Alice hung her head down.

"Please, just answer the question."

"Yin." Joy said. "Aren't you the one who's always saying not to lie to a friend?" Yin turned to look at joy, then back at Alice.

"You're right." She sighed. "Both of you. I shouldn't lie, I am Empathy." Hearing this, tears started flowing heavily from Alice's face down to her lap.

"Oh, oh." She said." Oh, Uncle Empathy, I thought I'd never see you again." She wiped away the tears with her arm. "I guess shapeshifting runs in the family, even when we're not really related."

"Wait wait what's going on." Joy said.

"Well, there are a few people I've been meaning to tell, and you two just made the cut." Alice said. "Meet me in the library at lunchtime, I reserved it, so it'll only be the people I want to be there. Along with you there will also be Lake, Alexander, Dragon Lady, and Clover, I don't think you've met her."

"W-we'll be there." Yin said."

"Good." Alice said. "Now Joy, I realize you've just woken up from a coma, please allow me to give you a checkup."
